Chapter 4

Stefan's P.O.V.

After Caroline was finished talking to an unfamiliar girl, who looked like a biker, she came rushing over to us. There was an excited look in her eyes. Something tells me it had something to do with that girl.

"Guess what guess guys! There's a new girl in town and I've talked her into staying," She squeals with excitement. "She said she meet me back here in an hour so I can introduce you to her!"

"What's her name?" Elena asked.

Elena Gilbert. She looks so much like Katherine yet is nothing like her. I remembered back to last week when I first met her. I practically had a heart attack. I was thinking 'how is Katerine alive' then 'it's not her but how those she look so much like her?'. It was very confusing. But after getting to know Elena, I know that she is nothing like Katherine. The evil bitch that caused me to loose my two best friends. Damon and Amelia. Damon is still alive but hates me but Amelia died trying to save Damon. Sweet Amelia, I loved her like a sister.

"She said her name was Millie," I vaguely heard Caroline reply as I snapped back to the present.

"What a nice name. I used to have a teddy named Millie," Bonnie said with a smile.

"So what are you guy dressing up as for Halloween in a few weeks?" Caroline asks again and I tune out.

Not that I don't like Caroline or Halloween. I actually like Halloween. It's just I don't want to have to listen to the girls talking about costumes and how they're going to do their hair and other stuff like that. I may be a gentleman but I am a guy and we hold no interest for that stuff.

After a while Elena asks what I'm going to wear.

"I think I might go as a vampire," I say thinking of the irony of dressing up like my true self.

"Yeah I think you'd look great as a vampire," she replies with a far away look in her eye obviously trying to imagine what I look. Then she turns back to Bonnie and Caroline discussing Elena's dilemma about a guy named Matt. It went from that to trying to get me to answering questions.

"Come on Stefan we know barely anything about you," Bonnie pleaded at me after asking if I've ever done it before.

"Nope way to personal to answer " I said. I'm sure as hell not going to say 'yes I done it with a vampire who then turned me over a hundred years ago'.

Just as they were about to beg the entrance door opens and I see the girl from before step in. Caroline quickly runs over to her to lead her over to us.

"Your late," I hear Caroline say with fake anger.

"Come on three minutes after the hour is late," The girl Millie replied.

I tune out, not wanting to invaded their privacy. Caroline leads her over to us. She looks nervously at me. I wonder why because I know I don't look scary. But then why is she looking at me with mixed emotions running through her eyes.

"Right okay this is one of my Best Friends Bonnie," She says while pointing at Bonnie. "Right there is my other best friend Elena" points at Elena. "And that there is Stefan. He's only knew here as well." Caroline finishes pointing at me.

"Hey everyone I'm Millie," She said with a smirk so much of Amelia. She shot me a quick look.

"Hi, I hope you feel welcome here," Bonnie says to her with a welcome smile which she returns.
