Keith's Pov

"God what time is it?" I ask myself as I roll over to check the time. My eyes trace over the digital numbers as my brain racks itself trying make sense of the blurry lines. I sigh grabbing my glasses. "2 AM, hmm it's not as late I thought." I sit up taking my glasses off and swing my legs off the bed letting the souls of my bare feet rest on the frigid metallic floor. I sit for a moment before pushing my self up to my feet and walking out of my room. I stealthily slink down the silent hall pass the rooms of my fellow paladins. The only sound as I walk along being the sound of my own feet. I walk into the training room and call out "Initiate training level 7" I hear mechanical clanking before a gladiator bot drops out of the ceiling armed with a long staff.

Lance's Pov

I sniffle as tears flow down my cheeks. God I miss my family. I think to myself. Muffling my sobs with my blanket I sit up hearing keiths door open across from his door. It passed my mind to see what the red paladin was up to I wont ever admit it outloud but keith is pretty cute. I look at the time on my alarm clock groaning as I read the time "2 in the morning, guess who misses his family and wishes he could just sleep already? This guy." I whisper shakily. Pidge is probably still awake and I could more than likely go sit with them and watch them do their tech nerd thing. I sigh standing and walking to my door before steppimg out and walking past hunks room stopping at pidge's bedroom door. I knock softly and wait I hear a rolly chair swivel and rolls towards the door before it opens revealing a surprised pidge. "Lance what the hell are you doing awake?" They ask the paladin of the blue lion.
"I dunno just cant sleep is all. Can i sit in here with you for a while?" I ask receiving a curt nod from the short haired blonde with round wired glasses. They roll to the side letting me into their room I step in and take a seat on the floor as I watch pidge do their nerd thing.

Keith's Pov

I grip my bayard as it changes to the sword and a sheild appears in my other hand I fight the bot as it tries to sweep the staff under my legs I jumped having expected that. I whirl around landing a hard kick on the robots chest plate and swing my sword slicing the robots weilding arm off now throwing punches and using close combat to beat the bot that had now disappeared. I sat down as the system shut off and huddle my knees up to my chest. Letting out a shakey sigh "Why do still feel awful" I ask myself tearing up a little. I drag my self to the wall and curl up into a ball sinking into a seemingly peaceful sleep.

A/n sorry for the shory chapter just decided I wanted to write some klance. Ill try to post this weekend and next week maybe this week if I get free time.
