Gossip and rumors spread fast around my families realm. Someone would spy something charging towards us in the distance and would pass on the news to their friend and in 20 seconds the news is buzzing around our humongous kingdom. "By the way my name is Mylah-Rose Peyton. I'm the princess of Charnia. I have a brother that is my protector even though I've told him one hundred times that I'm old enough to look after myself now. Lewis Peyton is his name. My dad, King Stewart and mum, Queen Claire are the rulers of our realm."

Charging through the doors to kingdom is a young man. He frantically sprints towards me as if there is a wild bear chasing him or something. "A-a red speck Princess, in the distance!" He splutters. "What is it? And please, call me Mylah-Rose." I declare. "I'm sure it's a fire. Or something worse. I'm not too sure. It's too far away for me to actually know what the red speck is, Mylah-Rose." "What is your name may I ask sir?" I question with shock on my face. "Tairone. But my family and friends call me Tai." His emerald green eyes shimmer in the sun light that bursts through the gap in the closed white curtains. "I'll make sure I tell my parents by this evening. Come back if it gets any closer." I watch As Tai strides out the castle's gate. His outfit he was wearing was all worn out like he had come from the poor part of Charnia.

I glance out the only open window to see if I can spot a red speck. All I can see is citizens of Charnia strolling by. Squinting at the horizon I spy a bright red speck flickering every time the wind blows. What could it be I wonder. It could be a fire like Tai thought; I'm not one hundred percent sure.

(Later that night)
The creaky floor squeaks as I step foot into the throne room. My dad pondering about life on his throne. "Dad. Today a citizen came in and reported a red speck in the distance. He thinks it may be a fire. But I don't think it is." "I'll check it out in the morning darling. Make sure you rest your eyes." He says as he kisses me on the cheek lightly.

My smooth silky blankets press lightly on my toasty body.
Frantically sitting up in bed I wipe off the sweat dripping from my forehead. I chuck off my blankets. I glance over at my old clock on the wall and notice it's midnight. I feel as if I've been sleeping forever. I close my eyes from utter exhaustion.
