Striding out of Charnia on Penelope was something I never saw coming. Although I had just done so the other day it felt special today. It maybe because father I'm doing this for Charnia.
"We may have to head south-west to get past the lava. I suppose it's too hot to go near." Tai proclaims.
"Yes. Don't forget there is a forest surrounding the bottom of the volcano. People say there are h-horrible creatures down there." I stutter.
"I'm sure we'll be fine. We have got all the equipment we need." Tairone says fearlessly.
"Mylah-Rose, we better pick up the pace if we want to get there by tonight."
"Sure do!" I say confidently.
(30 minutes later)
We've made it to the forest now. It's kind of cold outside of the forest.
"I feel we should eat now before we go through the forest Mylah-Rose."
"Yes. We can tie up Penelope and Bruce to this tree trunk for the time being." I suggest.
We sit win on the damp grass outside the forest facing the way we had just come.
Whilst I eat my sandwich I hear a rustling sound it the bushes behind me. I don't think much of it. Penelope and Bruce let out a loud squeal and I hear them gallop away.
I frantically turn around noticing both Bruce and Penelope have snapped the ropes that tied them to the tree and had run off into the forest that surrounded Volchia.
"What on earth has happened to them!" Tai says as he stands up and rushes towards the incident.
"It's exactly what I thought." He says as he examines the small foot print trail.
"What is it? Tai please don't say it's -"
"Goblins." He says interrupting me.
"Those things can kill animals. We've got to follow the trail before it's too late! C'mon Tai."
We zoom off into the forest leaving our lunch behind.
