Venice went into the chemistry class, already despising the idea of attending the class. She always hated chemistry. When she entered the classroom, she saw Scott sitting beside Lydia and Stiles took a stool and sat on the other side of the red head, adjacent to her. She frowned looking at them and sat beside Allison, who's sitting in the other row, beside Scott. Scott, Stiles and Allison looked very tensed. Venice looked at Allison and shrugged questioningly, silently asking her what's wrong.
Allison jerked her head towards the place where Erica, Isaac and Lily were seated and then immediately scribbled on a paper, saying They're gonna test Lydia if she's the creature.
Venice frowned reading those words. Before Venice could even utter a word, Mr. Harris started saying "Einstein once said two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe. I myself have encountered infinite stupidity" and patted Stiles's shoulder.
" So to combat the plague of ignorance in my class, you're going to combine efforts through a round of group experiments. Let's see if two heads are indeed better than one. Or in Mr. Stilinski's case, less than one" Harris said.
" Erica, you take the first station. You'll start with-" Harris was telling Erica, but got cut off, when many guys and few girls raised their hands, wanting to sit with Erica.
" I didn't ask for volunteers. Put your hormonal little hands down. Start with Mr. McCall. All right, next two" Harris said.
Venice was sure Allison was fuming from inside, but was really trying to keep her cool.
Venice got paired up with Isaac, for which she was partly thankful for. Isaac came and sat beside Venice with a genuine smile, which she returned.
Both of them started working immediately. In the middle, Isaac started speaking "I want to apologize for what I did, back in the police station. It was the full moon. I couldn't control myself."
"It's okay. It's in the past" Venice said and Isaac smiled gratefully.
He only wondered how awkward it will be if his Luna didn't have much of a good impression on him.
"Thank you" Isaac said.
A few seconds later, Venice decided to ask him directly "Is it true?"
Isaac looked at Venice, questioningly.
"About what you guys are planning to do to Lydia" Venice added.
Isaac slowly nodded. He and the other pack members were told strictly by Derek to not involve Venice much in all this stuff, given that she's already dealing with her own problems.
"Whatever you're thinking about doing, wait " Venice told him.
"Derek gave us strict orders to complete the task, by the end of the period. Things might get a little out of hand, if we do it somewhere else" Isaac said.
From the corner of her eye, Venice saw Erica, sliding her hand up Scott's thigh and made a disgusted face, making Isaac follow her gaze and chuckle.
"Oh god! I think I should purify my eyes with a veil of holy water" Venice mumbled, making Isaac laugh.
Just then, Harris rang the bell and said "Switch!"
This time, Allison got to sit beside Venice, making both the brunettes smile, gratefully.
"I swear to god that I'm gonna kill that bitch, one day" Allison mumbled, looking at Erica, who kept smirking, looking at both the brunettes.
"I might volunteer for that" Venice told Allison and went back to doing her work.
