The door of the cell room cracked open from which entered a guard with a plate filled with food which helped to increase the blood levels. Like egg yolks, pomegranate, beans, and other fruits.

Her master was generous towards her today.
As she was rarely fed.

'He must be in a good mood today' she thought.

She quickly finished the food as though someone would snatch it away from her.

She strode towards her master's chambers and started cleaning his room. The papers on his desk were scattered everywhere. He probably worked till midnight yesterday.

One of the papers caught her attention. It was a handwritten letter by the vampire council. She examined the letter. Only if she could read properly. The only thing she was able to read was that it was very important and the matters at hand were to be taken seriously. As it may be a threat to their kind.

What kind of a monster does her demonic master need to be cautious about?

She carefully put the piece of paper back, not wanting to get in trouble for sneaking around and quickly cleaned his room.

It was late evening now.

He would soon be back for his dinner. She quietly stood near the window and waited for him.

It was a full moon today. The moon shined brightly in its glory, lightening the beautiful garden filled with different kinds of flowers. The only thing she loved about this place.

Gazing at the moon somehow brought back some of the hope of being free again. How would it feel to live a life on her own terms? To lead her life as heart desired? If only she had the courage to fight for her freedom. If only she could fight back...

She so lost in her thoughts that she didn't hear her master sneaking behind her.

"A penny for your thoughts"

She jumped at the intrusion and turned around facing him. Quickly lowering her eyes down.

He lifted her face placing a finger under her chin to meet his eyes.

"Dreaming about freedom now, are we little one?" Her eyes widened. She quickly shook her head.

"Now now little one, don't lie to your master" I've known you long enough to guess what you might be thinking" He said calmly getting impossibly close. Fear coursed through her veins now. The calm tone sending chills down her spine.

It was the calm before the storm.

"I've known you long enough to know what runs in that pretty little brain of yours, little one" he said as he grazed his sharp canines against the soft skin of her neck.

"Is my little lamb bored of the life I'm providing? Hmm?" She could hear the threat in his voice.
"Are you planning to run away from me little one?" The nails of his fingers dug into her already bruised skin painfully.
She whimpered. Petrified now.

"N..no master.." the girl choked out in a small voice.

"Do not lie to me!" He roared loudly.

Hot tears were streaming down her face and her heart beat rapidly in her chest. She could sense what the near future held for her. She just hoped that it would be over soon.

The monster dragged her across the room and through the hallways with a vice grip on her upper arm. Manhandling her.
They reached the basement.

The color drained from her face as he started to unlock the door to the basement. The place where slaves were tortured.

She started struggling in his grip but was no match to the strength of a supernatural creature.

"P-p..please m..master... I won't do it again." She didn't even know what she had done wrong. Was he punishing her just because he thought she was thinking about running away? Or because he wanted to blow off some steam and clear his head? Or was he just bored?
She had no idea.

He unlocked the metal door and pushed her inside roughly locking the door again.

"Time to teach you a lesson, little one" he tied her wrists to the wall with ropes leaving them to lose enough for her to squirm with agony underneath him when he unleashed his wrath on her.

She didn't stop pleading him as tears rolled uncontrollably down her cheeks.

He felt the adrenaline rushing through his veins seeing the weak little girl plead and squirm with fear. He couldn't wait to teach her a lesson. His fingers itched to scar her delicate skin with his tools and weapons of torcher.

He started to unbuckle his belt. Holding it in his hands. Grazing the metal part of it on her skin and tracing her facial features

"Now you'll know never to run away from me again. You belong to me, little one! You won't even let that thought cross your mind. Understood?" He asked.

She nodded frantically.

"Use your words slave!" He roared. Tightly clutching her jaw in his hands.

" Ye..s Yes m..master," she said in a small strained voice.

"Hmm...good" he stood. "Now, so that you won't forget your lesson I should give you a memento something for you to remember it by. So that you don't forget it. Now, what should that be?" He started to pace around the room. Mocking her. Increasing her heartbeat minute by minute.

"Objects are out of the question. Seeing the way how clumsy and careless you can be. You'd just lose it." He tapped his chin. Showing like he was in deep thought.
He suddenly turned towards her. Eyes lightening like a child's on a Christmas morning.

"I know just what to give you as a token of remembrance for the lesson that I've just taught you" with that he rolled the end of the belt in his right arm. Ready to scar her body.

A bloodcurdling scream could be heard as the belt hit her body with supernatural speed and blood started to gush out of her wound.
There was no time for her to plead him to stop when he hit again and again

She shielded her face and prayed for the gods above to end this agonizing torcher. She couldn't take it anymore. The pain was too much to bear. Death seemed appealing.

The monster kept hitting her again and again without any mercy.

Dark spots started to occur around her eyes as she felt life leaving her body. She was numb now and accepted the fact that she was going to die now. This was the end of her miserable life.

A small smile graced her lips by the thought of being free. She wouldn't have to endure the beatings from the monster now. She was going to be free now.

The sound of something hitting the floor and the metal door closing could be heard in the background.

She thanked the heavens for finally answering her prayers and closed her eyes.
