"Werewolves?!"

Her heart drummed wildly against her chest as fear envelopes her body.

"Yes, werewolves. You have never heard of them before?"

She shakes her head in denial.

"That's quite strange..."

"Yes! Considering the fact that our country is ruled by werewolves."

"You've never really heard of them before?"

She shakes her head again.

"Can you tell me about them? The w-werewolves..."

"Well, they are the most powerful creatures on earth. With the strength of a 100 wolves!"

"Canines so sharp. That they could tear apart a demon's throat!"

"For God's sake stop scaring the poor girl already." Martha enters the tent with a fresh set of clothes and a washcloth in her hand. With a hand on her hip, she scolds her daughter for scaring their guest.

"We were just telling her the truth, mama!" Lila says as she giggles. The 16-year-old never knew when to shut her mouth.

"Aurelia Elizabeth Stewart! You have no idea what that poor girl has...."
Angelina zones out after that.

Werewolves. They seem scarier than vampires. If anything Aurelia and Dahlia said was true. She wouldn't want to stay here. Although the people here didn't seem as scary as the vampires.
Maybe not everyone here was a werewolf. Maybe she had not met one yet. Maybe...

Was Lucas a werewolf too? Of course, he was. He was the gamma of their pack.

Although she didn't know what a gamma was. She assumed it must of higher rank as everyone respected him around here.

"Angelina dear, Gamma Lucas wishes to meet you. If you could please follow Aurelia she will lead you to his chambers." Martha says as he motions Aurelia to the girl. Aurelia rolls her eyes at her mother but motions Angelina to follow her anyway with a sweet smile.

Angelina follows her quietly.

It was a rather cold morning today. Angelina rubs her palms together and hugs her arms to provide some kind of warmth to herself. She'd have to ask Martha for some warmer clothes.

"So I assume you have met Gamma Lucas before, yes?" Aurelia turns towards Angelina.

"Yes. I have." She recalls her first night here. Lucas was the only one who she had come to place her trust in. He'd provided her with food, shelter, and clothes to sleep in and for that, she was forever grateful.

But she hadn't forgotten about her friend's death. Who had been brutally murdered by one of his soldiers.

She didn't know if she should confront him or should just leave it alone. But she couldn't. How could she? As Lucy's murderer wandered freely. She had to avenge her friend.

But would Lucas punish him?

If he did have a heart. He would.

"He is quite charming isn't he...with his oh so blue eyes, honey-blond hair...." Aurelia says dreamily and sighs. Her fingers gently brush against the wildflowers as she skips happily.

Angelina smiles and shakes her head at her antics.

They reach a tent guarded by two very buff men with stone-cold expressions. As Aurelia reaches one of the guards his eyes quickly soften up.
