It is a nice hot and shining morning in the city of New York. You can easily hear the sound of traffic in the city. My name is Daniel Blake. Apparently my grandfather owns America's largest scientific research and development corporations BLAECORP. My father doesn't own the company. My grandfather does. He was the one who started BLAECORP. I don't even live in a mansion like my grandfather does. I just live in an ordinary house in the countryside of New York. Our house is near Blake Mansion where my grandfather lives. He treated his workers with respect and was always nice and warm-hearted. I admired Grandpa. He would even tell me stories about his adventures and told me his experience when he served in the Military for the Vietnam War. My Grandfather has told me that America has never lost a war since the Revolutionary War when America was born. He has told me that George Washington became the first President because he lead his army to defeat Britain who has defeated almost every army in the world. And later on we haven't lost one war except for one. And that war was Vietnam. Whenever my Grandfather told me stories I felt like I am being filled with knowledge and wisdom. And because of him I am one of the brightest students in my High School. And yes for being the grandson of the owner of BLAECORP I go to school. My mother and father work at BLAECORP as scientists. Because of them Science is my favorite subjects. I can even do chemistry in my sleep. Well just take that quote as a metaphor. I'm outside sitting on my house porch relaxing and listening to music as I can see Blake Mansion shine in the distance. It's a beautiful sight when you see Blake Mansion in the morning as if we are making new miracles everyday. I get up off my porch and I go inside the house to let my parents know that I'm gonna be taking a walk in the park. "Okay," my mother said "but be back by 11:15 for breakfast Danny," my mother said. "I will mom!" I shouted as I started walking to our nearby park. I can see children running and playing as I can hear their joyful laughter. I remembered when I was a kid. I was my grandfather's favorite family member. I used to be strong and athletic. I even played on my Jr. Basketball team. I walk and I stop at a basketball court. I start practicing and shooting hoops. It has been half an hour until I checked the time on my phone as it read 11:15. "Oh shoot mom said for me to be back by 11:00!" I started running out the park to my home. I arrived home and I see my mom and dad in the Dining Room. "Sorry I'm late," I say panting "I was just playing ball," I explained as my father said "It's alright Daniel as long as you made it on time," my father said smiling as we ate our pancakes. "Daniel" mom starts "me and your father are going on a trip to another BLAECORP lab in California this Friday. You will be staying with your Aunt and Uncle while we are gone," mom says. "I expect you to be on your best behavior," my father says. "I will," I say frowning down at my feet. I get up and go in my room as I turn my TV on and started watching Ghost Adventures typically one of my favorite shows. I turn the TV off and I head down for lunch. After lunch I got online in my XBOX. I start playing Injustice and later got bored. I turned my game off and later started watching "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" as the time on my clock read 7:00. I quickly get up and went into the family room with my mom and dad as I ask them if they wanna play a board game. They nodded happily and we took Monopoly out. It suddenly becomes 9:00 and I began to feel tired. I say goodnight to my parents and I headed to my room as I changed into my pajamas and jumped into my bed for tomorrow I have school.
