Chapter 8 Abilities

The next morning I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock. I quickly get up and hit the button as I went back to sleep. After five minutes I noticed that my alarm clock got smashed. "What the," I say looking shocked. "I'll fix that later," I quickly get up and fix my bed in less than 2 minutes as I go into the bathroom to brush my teeth. I get my tooth brush and my toothpaste. As soon as I open the cap I squeezed the bottle as a large amount of toothpaste flies out onto the mirror. I collected the amount of paste on my mirror with my tooth brush. I open the faucet but as soon as I grab the handle and pulled it the handle breaks off and the faucet starts squirting water. I brushed my teeth quickly as I shut the pipes connected to my sink off. I head into the shower as I pulled the shower curtains the shower curtains suddenly fly down as the support holding the shower curtains fall off too. I leave al the things that broke in the bathtub as I leave the bathroom as I went over to open my closet door and grab the handle as the handle too breaks off. "Why is everything I touch breaking?" I say frustrated. Now I couldn't shower, use my sink or open the closet to change my clothes. Now I just sit in my bed paranoid of what's happening. I calm down and walk towards my bedroom door. I touch and opened it as gently as I could and it worked. At least my doorknob didn't break. I walk downstairs and I see my Aunt Jess cooking breakfast. "Good morning," Is say trying to hide my frustration and worry. "Don't worry I won't be taking a lot of food as I did last night," I say as Aunt Jess gives me a worried look. "Danny me and your uncle were concerned about you last night," she starts. "You were acting a bit 'odd' when you took that loadful of food last night," I then give her a look as I say, "Oh Aunt Jess I'm sorry I just barely ate yesterday and I was...uhh...starving," I say to her. "Ok you got me and your uncle worried," she says. "Aunt Jess don't worry I'm fine," I say smiling at her "it was just typical teenage boy stuff," I say. I hear footsteps coming from upstairs as I see my Uncle Tom walking in the kitchen as he sees me and says "Good morning Daniel!" he says smiling. "Oh you look energetic! Looks like that food last night helped you out!" he says chuckling. I chuckle as he sits next to me and asks "So how have you and your family been? He asks. "My family has been doing good," I say, "right now my mom and dad are heading towards California to a BLAECORP research lab. "Oh, well at least they're alright! "He says. "Very hardworking your father is" he says. "Your mother too is hardworking as well," Aunt Jess says. "Oh Danny you are really bright like your father," Uncle Tom says. "And you look like him too," he added. "Thank you Uncle Tom and Aunt Jess I really appreciate it," I say. I finish eating my scrambled eggs and toast and headed upstairs to fix my faucet, closet, and my alarm clock.
