Marinette had been writing a new Article in her Journal well into the night. Tomorrow was Thursday the 23rd and then came Friday. Every Friday Tikki would come by at random times o the day for her next Article, so she needed to finish. As of late a Nazi officer had taken a liking to their bakery coming by everyday for either breakfast or lunch. With what little German she had picked up from Adrien she had been able to gather new stories by listening to the Nazi.
He had made lunch reservations for tomorrow with three guests. It would be a good opportunity to gather more information for her Article. Once she got this information she would finish her Article and rewrite it for Tikki. Marinette yawned and figured it was time for bed.
Tonight Marinette hid her Journal in one of her work aprons for safe keeping. The other day her Mother had almost found the Journal when trying to clean her daughter's bed while she was at school. If that would have happened she would be grounded for the rest of her life. Satisfied her work was well hidden Marinette drifted to sleep.
She had a normal dream like any other night. It was the same dream she had time and time again. Her and Adrien running away together and getting married like Romeo and Juliet. Well minus the eventual suicide. They would have a big family and live happily far away from the rest of the cruel world. The dream couldn't last forever though as her Mother woke her the next morning.
"Marinette," Sabine yelled. "You slept in again! Get up, dear!"
"Five more minutes Adrien." Marinette mumbled.
Sabine suppressed a smile as she continued to try and wake her daughter. Today was one of the days Marinette didn't go to school and they needed her help anytime she could give it.
"Marinette!" Sabine yelled again. 'Wake up!"
Marinette jolted up confused at first. She looked to her Mother then to her clock. It took her a minute to realize she had slept in, again. She darted out of bed and rushed to get ready. Satisfied, Sabine went back downstairs while her daughter tried getting dressed as fast as she could. However in her hurry Marinette forgot her Journal was still in the apron she had put on. The journal holding her day to day secrets and resistance articles that could get her in big trouble.

Adrien sat in the car waiting for his Father and Nathalie to get in. This lunch with the Major may not just be some social gathering. It may very well be a work meeting. He could only imagine what his Father and the Nazis were planning.
The designer finally emerged from the Mansion with his assistance. They joined Adrien, and the Gorilla pulled out making their way to the bakery where they were to meet Major Hans. The Officer hadn't mentioned a name, so Adrien had no idea where they were going. When they finally stopped Adrien noticed they were at the Dupain-Cheng Bakery. His heart started beating faster at the thought of Marinette which was new. However it began to slow as Adrien remembered Marinette's views on the Germans and now she would met the Major.
Adrien then gave a sigh of relief as he remembered it was Thursday. She would still be in school by now. If he could help it he would keep any Nazi far away from her. After all he... cared about her. Adrien thought about that for a second and felt sick. How could he still lie to himself? He didn't care for Marinette anymore, he loved her. How could she ever feel the same though? He was a Nazi supporter and she couldn't stand them.
Major Hans called out to the group and drew Adrien out of thought. He was seated at a table with three other chairs. Gabriel, Nathalie, and Adrien all took their seats greeting the Major. The Nazi seemed happier then usual.
