As the bell strikes midnight, I turn eighteen at last. The first thing I've always wanted to do once I was of legal age would be to sign up for a lottery. Seeing how the adults around me often registered for the big sweep or scratch and win, made me want to try it out too. To me, it was a symbol of maturity.

As everyone knows, beginner's luck is not to be underestimated.

For, I've hit the lottery and won 2.5 million US dollars! Sounds really unbelievable right? Well,

It's true.

Now, the real question lies here. How should I spend all that money? What would an average 18-year-old wish for ; a new laptop? A Mercedes-Benz M8 Series? New clothes? Why not rent a Korean Oppa to have dates with?

That's it. It actually sounds like a good plan! An unthinkable idea took the form of a light bulb twinkling in my head. It's not totally unfeasible though.

At this moment, I took out my Iphone and called Jermaine, who is my best friend of 8 years ever since elementary school. At the end of the 2nd ring, she answered in a sleepy voice.

"Hello? Who's calling?"

"Were you about to fall asleep after dinner again? Seriously Jermz?" I answered her with a slight chuckle in my voice.

"Give me a moment, let me freshen up and grab some snacks."

After five minutes, a slight rustle was heard and Jermaine was back. First, she opened a bag of seaweed; moving onto the bag of gummy bears. Finally, she was ready to talk after a huge gulp of Coke.

"Okay, SPILL THE TEA" Jemz said excitedly.

We were video-calling on Skype. Thus, I could see that she was listening to me intently, while hugging one of her newly bought craftholic bears.

After updating her on the current events, I decided to tell her my absurd idea which I know she would approve of too.

"Okay, this sounds f*cking crazy and ridiculous but, hear me out! Let's rent a Korean Oppa."

"Nani? Did I hear you right? An Oppa? Being single for barely 6 months and you're this desperate? Are you going nuts right now?" My best friend bombarded these words over the Skype call at me.

"No..No..No, not a boyfriend but a tour guide to bring us around our stay in Korea."

"Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh!!! Sounds just like a real life drama to me!!!" Jermaine gushed out in excitement. It was only after 5 minutes where she stopped fangirling and regained her composure.

"I guess it's Korea?"

So, that was how we began to plan for our impromptu trip to Korea.
