Ben's POV

I watched Calleigh go to the balcony. She started talking, but I don't think she was talking to me though. Later, when I heard some of it, it broke my heart that she was talking to her mom even though she wasn't physically there. I wanted to go up to her and hug her, but something that she said made stop in my tracks she said "her mom died before her birthday cause of the job". It was true her mom did die before her birthday and now the day before her birthday she now has to think about her mom before her birthday.

I walked out and went to my room. I sat in my bed and closed my eyes and opened them again, but when I opened them again my wife Elizabeth was standing there. She couldn't be standing there, she WAS died I closed and opened my eyes again, I wasn't dreaming she was really there in body form. "Ben" she began "I'm still alive I had to fake my death, because someone was after me, because of my job. I have been at every competition our little girl attended and this one. She can't know I'm alive not right not yet" she said. "Elizabeth, Cal misses you and I do too, but why haven't you come before?" I asked. "It was to risky, if I did I would be putting our family in danger" she said. I hugged her "I haven't seen you in a year Elizabeth a year" I said. "I know and I'm sorry, meet me tomorrow with Cal at the same competition she was just at" she said. I nodded I blinked and she was gone. I really had to reconsider marrying Aria, she is a great woman, but I still cannot forgive her for what she done to my little girl. It was when we 3 weeks into our relationship, she had cut Calleigh with a knife claiming that Calleigh was playing with one of Eric's guns. I knew it wasn't true cause Calleigh would never do that.

The next day, Calleigh got dressed. She wore a dress with roses and the background was a dark blue, her mom got her for her 12 birthday. "Morning Cal" I said, "morning dad" "ready to go?" I asked "yes, just let me grab my purse and I'll meet you in the lobby" she said. She always took that after her mother, always wearing a purse what she wore.
