"The movie was so adorable!" Mijin gushed, waving her hands all over the place. Sooyoung laughed uncomfortably, romance and love were things that weren't allowed around here, and she could only imagine what would happen if they were caught talking about this stuff.
You see, to keep the population under control, boys and girls were to never interact, unless the government wanted them to do so. There were different schools, different places, different roads and streets. Yuchuse was a very small island, so the government—or the king—was always worried it will become too crowded.
"How the boy so passionately kissed the girl was so admirable, their love was so real, so beautiful..." Mijin said rather loudly, Sooyoung gulped thickly, looking around frantically too see if anybody was eavesdropping on their conversation. She let her eyes meet Mijin's, holding a slight finger to her lips hushing her.
"Talk quietly! We dont want anyone too hear us, Mijin!" Sooyoung whispered harshly at her.
Mijin rolled her eyes, wrapping her fingers around the cup and lifting it too her lips.
"I don't get it Sooyoung... how people can have the freedom too love each other and care for each other and then..." She pointed to herself, and then at Sooyoung.
"And then there's us," she pouted cutely. In some levels Sooyoung did agree, She was always jealous of those people who were able to have such feelings for the opposite sex, but at the same time found it odd.
Sooyoung took a tiny spoon, dipping it into her cup of coffee and slowly stirring it. She looked down at her cup, thinking about how different life would be if you were allowed too have relationships with men. How would it feel? How much happiness could it grant?
"Sooyoung? Soooyuuung," Mijin stretched out her name, making Sooyoung flicker her eyes at Mijin and give her a glare.
"What?" Mijin mumbled.
Sooyoung kept stirring her coffee even though it was nicely stirred and didn't need anymore stirring.
"Titanic was such a good movie, I really want to show you it!" She laughed cheekily. Sooyoung laughed as well and shook her head.
"Well, other than some person I know, I'm not a rebel and I follow the laws!" She pointed out, arching an eyebrow.
She pouted cutely again. "Pfft, such a stickler. It's fun to be a rebel sometimes," she talked back.
Sooyoung sighed, shaking her head. Suddenly three men stormed up behind Mijin.
"MIJIN! BEHIND YOU!" Sooyoung yelled at her at the top of her lungs, but it was too late, one man covered her mouth up and another grabbed her by the neck and forced her to stand up. Sooyoung chased after her but they pulled a gun straight at her face.
"Don't." One of the man growled, Sooyoung stiffened, watching as they took her friend away.

Her body was displayed in front of everyone on a stand, a rope was looped around her neck. The crowd was only filled with girls because there is a separation between watching a execution as well. Sooyoung was at the front, on her knees crying, tears streaming down her face.
"PLEASE! Let her go! I beg of you!" They looked down at her and only laughed,
Disgusting, she thought."P-please.. T-take me instead.." She cried harder, bending down. Instead, they ignored her amd continued too joke around with Mijins unconscious body, touching her private areas. Everyone around Sooyoung was laughing at her naked body.
"So fat."
"Disgusting, ew..."
"Haha, she needs to get some plastic surgery!" They all giggled.
"Too bad, shes dying so she cant get plastic surgery, she lived ugly and she will die ugly!" One of them remarked, they all screamed in laughter, Sooyoung clenched my fists in rage, standing up she left the scene right when they tightened the rope around Mijin's neck.
