"I don't get it Colby, Was I just a mistake?" You yelled at your soon to be ex boyfriend.
You see, You were out for the day with one of you friends from your home town. You guys were having fun, and when you got home you caught Colby and some random girl making out on the living room floor.
"No baby, you weren't a mistake, you were just a happy accident." He smiled widely.
Your jaw dropped in pure shock.
"What did you just say." You chocked through tears.
"You heard me." He spat back.
You ran out of the house and down the street, thinking of all the good times you've had with Colby.
"Baby i'm scared."
"Don't worry babe, i'll protect you." He said holding on to your hand.
Your grip on Colby's arm tightened as a person in a clown outfit jumped out and scared you.
"Colby! Can we leave." You said .
He chuckled, "Okay babe."
You sat on a curb and let more tears flow down your cheeks as you thought about Colby more.
"Colby look at the puppy." You said as you walked around your local animal shelter, "He's so cute."
"Yeah, he's cute. But not as cute as you." He said, smiling at you.
You smiled back at him, "Thanks Colby, that's really sweet..." You said.
"I try."
"You complimented me and the dog." You laughed.
He started to laugh with you and soon you two were in pits of laughter.
For a moment you just sat there thinking about Colby and all the good times you spent together.
But then you thought, 'Colby was the one who cheated on me, I didn't do anything, He lost something great and he won't be getting it back anytime soon.'
You got up and walked back to your apartment and went to sleep.
From that night on, you completely forgot about Colby and you never once thought about another relationship.
