It was a few days after Evelyn was out of prison. She's been staying at home, but she finally wanted to go outside. She had a job at the bar and store anyways, so she needed to start today. Evelyn looked at her clothes closesly and finally chose black, smooth pants with a dark gray hoodie along with black, high heeled boots that went up to the knee. She put the hoodie on, pulling all of her hair out of sight. Walking out of the house, Evelyn put ear buds in and put her head down. When she got to the store, the woman yelled at her to get started immediately. Evelyn quickly got to work, sighing. Helen walked into the store, walking to the back. She grabbed everything she needed and walked to the cashier. She was so lost in her thoughts she wasn't paying attention to where she was going, I don't want to see Evelyn, but god do I miss her. I just want to see her as soon as possible, even if it would be the last time. Evelyn shouted, "look out!" It was too late. Helen tripped, falling. She quickly got up and looked embarrassed. Evelyn began checking out her stuff. Helen looked at the woman. The woman said, "you okay there? You look quite distracted." Helen nodded and replied, "I'm not lost in thought. Just clumsy me." She looked at the woman's face closer. The woman's icy, cold gray eyes were so familiar to her. Helen noticed the strand of hair. It was a dark brown. This woman looked so familiar. When the woman smirked, it hit Helen. Evelyn looked at Helen and said, "wait..... Do I know you?" Helen gasped and said, "wait.... You're Ev-." Evelyn's boss came, yelling at her. "STOP TALKING TO THE CUSTOMERS AND GET TO WORK!" Helen apologized to the boss and the woman, walking away. She escaped in her thoughts once again. That was Evelyn. Later that night, Helen went into a bar. She knew that these thoughts wouldn't go away and they'd only continue unless she got drunk. Helen sat down and saw the woman once again. The woman just got off of break and walked towards Helen. She sat next to her and told her, "drinks are on me." Helen smiled and said, "oh no. It's fine." She ordered a red, strong wine and Evelyn ordered whiskey. Helen remembered Evelyn always ordered that. Evelyn put a leg in the air, relaxing. That was it. Helen said, "oh my god. I know who you are.... You're Evelyn Deavor." Evelyn looked at her and asked, "how on earth do you know my name?!" Helen replied, calmly. "I'm Helen Parr." Evelyn looked at her and gasped, "oh my god.... Helen!" She got up and started to leave. She ran out of the bar into the late night, but Helen followed her. Helen stretched her arm and put it on Evelyn's shoulder. "Stop. You don't have to run." Evelyn looked at her and she had tears. "Helen. No. I have to. I loved you. But you just threw my love down the drain. How could you...?" Evelyn began crying, keeping her distance. She pulled Helen's hand off of her shoulder. Helen sighed and cried," then wait.... Please. Listen to what I have to say." Evelyn looked at her and whispered, "okay." Helen began to sing, "since the moment I laid my eyes on you I loved you. You consumed my thoughts every day. I don't know why I let you go. I've been craving you for a long time. I need another taste of your love. Can't you hear me calling for help? Without you, I'm lost. Oh can't you hear me crying for your help? I need you and always will," Evelyn was walking towards Helen, "I loved you since day one. Look at me now. I go crazy seeing you and I still need you. So here I go again asking for you lo-." Helen was cut off by Evelyn kissing Helen's lips slowly and affectionately. Evelyn and Helen sang together, "so here I go asking for your love again. I'll always love you. I'll always need you." Evelyn sang alone, "since the day I met you, my feeling that I was missing you has left. I needed you then, I need you today, I'll need you tomorrow, I'll need you always." She slowed her singing,"if you need anyone. I'll be right there. If you need anyone. You can just close your eyes and take my hand" Helen and Evelyn were slowly crying together. Helen put a hand in Evelyn's cheek and kissed her again.
