The Funeral

A week after Evelyn died, there was the funeral. Helen chose a black, long dress with a black veil to cover her face. She bought black and red roses for Evelyn. Winston was trying to stop crying as he put on his black and dark gray suit. I'm the only Deavor left now. He was thinking in his head. Soon, Helen and Winston arrived. He made the speech of Evelyn. "Evelyn was my sister and my closest friend. Every time she disappointed me, she made me proud with her next move. She was a friend to so many. She was the fiancé of Helen. When I close my eyes, I can feel her putting her hand on my shoulder. She'll be in our hearts forever. You can never forget someone as kind, amazing, lovable as Evelyn Deavor," he said, trying his best not to cry. Later, Helen and Winston were together. They stood at Evelyn's grave, looking down on it. Helen gave Evelyn's ring a long kiss and attached it to the roses. She slowly put the roses down and walked away, slowly.
