Chapter Nine-Powerful Little Omega

Hey guys. Sorry it's been a while and thank you for being so patient. I'm just on a lot of meds right now and if it's not meds then I'm in pain. But I'm going to try and do this chapter. Please let me know how it is. xxx

Evan's POV

Urgh...I don't wanna get up right now. I lie on our bed and just keep my eyes firmly closed. hoping Jax will go away. "Come on Little One. It's time for breakfast" he says in a sing-song tone of voice. "Why on the world do I have to be up so damn early Jax. I'm tired and it's not even 6 yet. Please, just another hour" I whine at him. Next thing I know, the blankets are all ripped off me and Jaxon is standing there with a huge grin on his face. I swear this man is only Five sometimes. "Nope, remember we said we were going to the Lake today to start practicing with your powers and we only have this morning to do it. I have business to attend to later this afternoon and there is no way in Hell that I am leaving you out there on your own. So get up sleepy head and get ready."  

With that said he turns around and waltzes out the room. I lie there for a few more seconds grumbling to myself then get up and head for the bathroom. After finishing my morning routine, I get dressed in some shorts and a T-Shirt with some flip flops. I need to be comfortable if I'm gonna do this. I head out the bedroom and follow the smell of delicious food to the kitchen. O My God, this man is a dream come true. He is gorgeous, intelligent, strong and powerful. And on top of all of that, he can cook like a dream. 

I bite into the fluffy eggs and moan out loud at the deliciousness of it. I hear a soft growl coming from Jaxon. I look up and his eyes are shifting between his colour and that of his wolf. I giggle and quickly look down at my food and go back to eating. "Careful my Little Mate. Moan like that and this big bad wolf might just pounce". He tells me and I can hear in his voice he is smirking at me. 

I refuse to look up at him. I wasn't ready for that and it made me feel bad. He is the Alpha. it is in his nature to want to claim what is his. Well, it's in the nature of every wolf but for an Alpha it's so much stronger. I can't carry on eating as I suddenly lost my appetite and I sit there blinking the tears back. He caught onto my mood shift quickly and got up from his chair to come around the table to me. He puts his thumb and forefinger on my chin and tilt my face up to meet his gaze. "I didn't mean it like that baby, please don't cry. I will never do anything like that to you. I will never do anything to hurt you" he tells me with a sense of urgency in his voice. 

"It's not that I think you will hurt me Jaxon. My concern is actually for you. You are an Alpha male. But you are stuck with a pathetic, weak Omega that can't even give to you what you want most" As soon as I finish my words, I am spun around on my chair and lifted out of it. He has a look in his eyes that I have not seen before...he is hurt. "Don't you ever say that is what I want most. You don't know what I want, but I am going to tell you now, seeing how you have such a low opinion of me. I want to see you smile and laugh. I want you to be happy and I want you to be care-free. Do I want to mate you? Yes! But not until you are one hundred percent sure that is what you want" With that I am plonked back into my chair, stunned, and he sits back down and carries on eating his food. 

I sit there for another few seconds, before I shoot out of my chair and run to him. I jump into his arms and sit on his lap. "Thank you, thank you, thank you". I just kept repeating those words over and over while he rubbed circles on my back to sooth me. "Thank you for what Little One" he asks me, sounding a bit confused. "For saving me, for waiting, for being such an amazing Mate" I tell him quietly. 

I push my lips against his, before I can second guess my actions and he just holds still. Giving me the chance to explore. I move my lips over his and he responds to it. I wasn't going to go too far but this was actually nice. I licked his bottom lip and he opened his lips for me. I quickly snuck my tongue in to explore, but I guess that was as far as I was gonna get with leading, as the next thing I know, he took over and dominated my mouth and my tongue, but I wasn't complaining. We stayed like that for a few minutes, till eventually he pulled back. "I think we need to stop right there, there is only so much my wolf can handle" he says, leaning his forehead against mine, panting for air. "Let's go Little one" he says after we had calmed down a bit more. He lifted me off his lap and put my feet on the floor. 

We were out of there and heading for the Lake. Now I was getting a bit nervous. We chose the lake, because it wasn't too close to the other houses and no one or their property could get hurt or damaged. After a few minutes of walking, we arrived at the Lake and I stood facing the water. I focused as hard as I could on pulling it up into a fountain. At first nothing happened, but then, slowly the water started rising. 

Jaxon's POV

I watched from the side as the water started rising higher and higher. This was amazing. I looked at Evan's face and my breath got knocked right out of me. He looked so ecstatic and  breathtakingly beautiful at that moment. i thought back to breakfast this morning. I know I shouldn't have been hurt by his words, but I was. I'm trying my best to show him that I am not like his previous Alpha and when he says stuff like that, then I feel like he is comparing me to that piece of shit. 

I calm my inner thoughts down and concentrate on what he is doing. He has managed to get the water to form a whirlpool and was making it bigger and bigger. but then I looked back at his face and I saw his nose had started to bleed. I tapped him on his shoulder to get his attention and he turned to face me, the whirlpool falling back into the Lake and it's surface calming once more. "I think you need to take it easy Little One. Your nose is bleeding" I tell him as I pulled a handkerchief out of my pocket and wipe his nose clean of blood. He looks startled at the fact that his nose is bleeding, but then he gets a pleading look on his face. "There is just one more thing I want to try then I will call it quits for today, I promise Jax. Please, please, please!" he is practically jumping up and down in front of me and begging me. " Okay, but....after this, you are done for the day and I want you to rest for the rest of the day." I tell him. He gets a mutinous look on his face, like he was going to disagree, then his shoulders slump in defeat and he just nods his head yes. 

"Okay my Little Wolf, what is it that you wanted to try so desperately?" I ask him, while moving away from him, to give his some space. He doesn't answer me, but I soon realise what it is, when the ground starts rumbling under my feet. Next thing I see a column of earth shooting straight up into the air. About 8 feet high. Then my little love uses the air around us to form a strong wind tunnel that carries his up onto the top of the 8 foot mountain of earth. He lands a bit wobbly but he managed it. 

I am immensely proud of him. But I am getting worried. This is obviously taking it's toll on him as he is now bleeding non-stop from his nose and he looks like he is about to faint. I quickly climb the side of the earth mountain he had created and got to him just in time, as his eyes roll back into his head and he loses consciousness. I catch him in my arms and slide down the side. I ran back to the Pack house and into our clinic. I had already mind-linked the Doctor so he was ready for us when we came in. 

The Dr motioned for me to lay Evan down on the bed and he started some tests. I was pacing and my heart was racing. I needed to know what was wrong with my little Mate. Eventually after more than an hour, they seem to be done with him. "The Luna just needs to rest. It seems like the power he used, drained him a bit too fast, causing the nose bleeds and the fainting. But he will be fine after some rest. It will get better with time and practice." Dr Richard assures me.

So I pick him up and take him upstairs to our bedroom. I lay down next to him and tuck him into my body. I look at his sleeping face, he is so beautiful. "I will keep you safe Little One, for as long as I live. You are my heart, my soul, my everything." I kiss him on his forehead and decide to take a nap with him. We can try again tomorrow if he is up to it and any work I was supposed to do can wait . My Mate come first. And with that thought I drift off into an amazing dream where Evan and I have no troubles and no pasts to haunt us. Just peace and blissful happiness
