Chapter Three-Meeting

Jaxon POV

Today is the big day. I'm going to the Bloodvenom Pack to supposedly look for my Mate, but I'm actually going so that I can have a look around and see if I can find out what the hell has been happening over there with the Omegas.

I'm in my bedroom busy packing when there is a knock on my door. Who the he'll can that be? It's only 5 in the morning. I think irritably. "Come in" I growl. My door opens and my Beta, Carter and Third In Command, Sebastian come walking in. They both look like they are still half asleep. "What time are we leaving again?" Carter asked, rubbing his eyes in an attempt to wake himself up. "We are leaving at 6, are you guys ready and packed?" I ask them. Coz they can be quite slow when it comes to travelling and I don't want to be held back just coz they forgot to pack a damn toothbrush. "We're ready. We got packed last night, after we did our perimeter run. Everything was nice and quiet. We're just gonna head down and have some breakfast. We'll make sure to dish some in for you as well" Said Sebastian.

They turned around and headed out the door and downstairs, looking for food. I finish packing and lug my bags downstairs and go and have my breakfast.

We leave just after 6 and for some reason my wolf is pacing and its making me feel anxious "What is up with you today Alarick?" I asked my wolf. "I don't know but something has me feeling excited and anxious at the same time, I can't explain it" Alarick replies. "Well try to settle down please. You are giving me a headache" I tell my wolf.

Three hours later we arrive at the Bloodvenom Pack. We are met at the border by some mean looking wolves. I know one of them is the Beta, Dorian and the other is the Third, Maxwell. We follow them all the way to the Pack House. Once we are out the car, we have a look around. People are looking at us, then quickly look away and carry on with their duties. But I'm not liking the vibe one little bit.

We are led inside and as we get closer to the kitchen, my wolf goes ballistic. I get the distinct smell of Vanilla & Chocolate and its coming from a door just off the kitchen. And my wolf is practically clawing at me, growling Mate, Mine. Over and over. But what is pissing both of us off, is the smell of blood from the same direction. I head in the direction of the door, but Dorian tries to grab my arm and steer me away. "There is nothing down there Alpha Jaxon. Alpha Mason's office is up on the second floor" he tells me, but he has a bit of a nervous look in his eye.

"Get your fucking hand off me or I will remove it for you and you won't like that. I can smell my Mate behind that door, but what pisses me off is the strong smell of blood that is also coming from the same direction" I tell him, trying to stay as calm as possible. I try walking towards the door again and again he grabs my arm to stop me. So I grab his hand and twist it up behind his back. Carter and Sebastian grabbed Maxwell as he tried to lunge for me and held him back.

I march Dorian over to the door and shove him so hard into it, that the door flies off its hinges and opens up. What I see when I go down the stairs, makes me so angry that I start pounding Dorian into the nearest wall. But I stop when I hear a small terrified whimper coming from the left, where about about 5 Omegas are sitting on a filthy cot bed, covered in blood.

I look in that direction and I see the most beautiful boy I have ever seen in my life. He has White-Blonde hair, big green eyes and a small sharpish face that makes him look like an elf. But the look in his eyes are pure terror. I have frightened my Angel, the last thing I wanted to do.

Evan's POV

We were sent down to my basement room as soon as word came through of the Silver Shadow Alpha being here.

We were sitting quietly and talking when we heard a growl come from the kitchen. Instantly the smell of Mint & Chocolate hit my senses. Cuthwulf, my wolf, started yipping and running around shouting Mate, Mine.

I wasn't sure how to react to the fact that my Mate has finally come for me, or that he was from the Silver Shadow Pack, but before I could even make a decision, the door comes flying down the stairs.

There, standing with his hand on Dorian's arm and pulling it tightly behind his back, is the gorgeous man from my dreams. He looks even better now that I see him in person, but then he gets this absolutely livid look on his face and starts pounding Dorian into the wall.

I got so scared when I realise this man is not only my Mate, but an Alpha and his anger is out of control. Will he hurt me like Alpha Mason has been doing? At that thought I let out a small whimper. And he stops immediately and looks towards me. I am sitting on my filthy excuse for a bed and I have the other Omegas with me. I am trying to keep them behind me, but I'm so fucking scared right now.

His eyes immediately soften as he looks at me and he reaches out a hand for me, dropping Dorian on the floor, unconscious. But I shy away from his hand. He will hurt me too. He is after all an Alpha. "I won't hurt you little one" He tells me. His voice is like liquid gold pouring over my senses and I have to fight my arousal. I don't answer him, coz I don't trust him to speak the truth.

He looks behind him at two strangers. "This is my Beta, Carter and my Third, Sebastian. And I am Jaxon, Alpha of the Silver Shadow Pack. We won't hurt any of you. I am going to go have a word with Alpha Mason then I will come back for you. Please pack your belongings in the meanwhile" he tells me. When he said Alpha Mason, he almost spat it out like it was a curse or a filthy word. I look him dead in the eye and tell him"I am not leaving any of these Omegas behind and I have a friend as well. If I leave him, they will kill him." "That's fine. Get everyone together and we will come fetch you as soon as we are done." He tells me, a soft smile on his face.

I link Nathan to tell him what is happening and he agrees to come with me. All the Omegas also agree and we get our meager belongings together. I just hope I am doing the right thing. What if he is worse that Alpha Mason? "I don't think he is. He seems very kind and gorgeous as well" Cuthwulf tell me with a wolfy grin on his face. "Let's hope you are right about this and you aren't just saying that coz of your hormones" I tell him. But a small blossom of hope is growing in my chest. Maybe this will be good for us? Lets hope so.
