{Part Two} Chapter 16:

Carissa's P.O.V.

"I don't know I'm really worried about her."

"Me too, but she can't stay in there forever. I think this'll be a good thing for her."

"Yeah but-."

"But nothing, Julia. She's been moping around in her room for ten days. A break from all this is exactly what she needs."

"Okay."

"We're all on the same page now right?" Kye asked.

"Yup." Robyn and Julia said.

"Okay than let's get this over with." I heard Robyn say before they opened my door. I really didn't care what they had to say or what they were planning to do. I just wanted to lay here in my comfy bed and cry myself to sleep like I've been doing for the past nine nights.

Why you might ask, am I being so pathetic? Because I just found out that Brody was killed in action two weeks ago. The only day I came out was to go to the funeral, I locked myself and all my crying patheticness in my room once I got home.

Trust me I know I'm being pathetic, I just don't know what else to do! It's been over a year since the whole Luke, me, and Brody love triangle situation thing happened. I'm pretty much completely over Luke and everyday I mananged to fall more in love with Brody so you can understand why it feels like there's this big hole in my heart and it's never gonna be fixed.

"Carissa? Are you awake?" Julia whispered in my ear and I nodded my head.

"Good because we have something to tell you...." Robyn said.

"That you won three tickets to California and you want me to go with you guys." I mumbled.

"Wow you are really good at guessing." Kye said.

"Try the walls aren't soundproof and you guys weren't whispering."

"So will you?" Julia asked.

"No. I'm sorry guys but really, I just wanna be alone." I said and squeezed my pillow even tighter.

"Come on it's California. We've always talked about going there before you graduate highschool and now we have the chance." Robyn said and gave me her most adorable puppy face but this time it wasn't working.

"No! My fiance just died by a shot in the head, how do you expect me to be okay?"

"Carissa please! This is a once in a life time oppportunity, you have to come with us." Julia said and placed her hands on my shoulders. But I still didn't look at any of them.

"I know it hurts now but that's why we want you to come. Don't you get that we hate seeing you like this." Kye said and sat down next to me on my bed.

"i just don't know how to be happy again." I said between sobs.

"Which is why we think that getting you out of the house and away from all of this will be good for you." Robyn said gently.

"Right because that's gonna bring-."

"Don't you say his name!" Robyn said and slapped her hand over my mouth to cut me off.

"Mmfm hmm phlay zes hilmf u-."

"Right sorry." Robyn said and took her hand off my mouth to keep me from continuously speaking gibberish.

"Thanks. Now, if I say yes will you guys let me have the next 24 hours to cry some more?" I asked.

"Of course." Julia said and gave me what I imagine was a comforting bear hug as she squeezed me to death.

"So......is that a yes?" Kye and Robyn asked.
