Chapter 2

Thea's POV

Nakarating na kami sa park. I missed this place. After how many years, nakabalik ulit ako rito. Since umalis si Andrei never na kong bumalik dito, dahil nandito lahat ng memories namin simula bata pa kami.
"So kamusta ka? It's been a long time." Simula nya ng umupo kami sa bench dito sa park. "Definitely fine. Ikaw?" I answered and asked him. "Okay naman. You've changed a lot Janelle." Puna nya sakin. Natawa naman ako. "Syempre. Ilang years din yung nakalipas no. Ikaw din naman ang laki ng pinagbago mo, kita mo ang bansag na sa'yo sa DAIU "The Trouble Maker" you're not like that before." I said. He chuckled. "Yeah, I admit I've changed a lot. Ganon talaga habang tumatanda tayo may nagbabago hahaha." He said. "Yeah right. Halos kalimutan mo na nga ako eh." I pouted. "No no no. Yan ang never na nangyari Janelle. As I went to States I always thinking of you. Hayst. Ang hirap kaya ng malayo sa'yo." He said. "Bat kasi don ka pa nag aral? Pwede naman dito eh." I said. "Kailangan eh. Kasi nagkasakit si Mom." He said. I was schocked of what he said. I never known that Tita Celine got sick. "What? Tita got sick?!" I said. Tumango sya bago nagsalita. "Yep. But she totally fine now." He said. Napatango lang ako. Dahil malapit ng matapos ang bakasyon. Lot of children are playing here in park. Pinapanood ko ang mga bata na busy sa paglalaro. Naalala ko ganyan din kami non ni Andrei. Nagulat ako ng bigla nya kong inakbayan. I turned to him. He was looking to me straight in my eyes. "I missed you Janelle." He said. Natigilan ako. I missed him so much. "I missed you too Andrei." I said, then I rest my head on his shoulder. "Janelle?" He called me. "Hmmm?" I said. "Matagal ko na dapat ginawa to eh. Pero masyado pa tayong bata para don haha.  But this time I want to say this." Litanya nya. "Ano ba yon? Ang dami namang pasikot sikot." I said at hinarap na sya. Napakamot sya sa batok nya. "I love you." He said while not looking at me. "W-what?!" I asked. He turned to me and look into my eyes. "I love you." He said. Napatulala ako dahil sa sinabi nya, after all akala ko hanggang bestfriend lang. "Uh?" I don't know what to say. "I know it's to early but since our childhood iba na yung naramdaman ko for you. It's weird right?" He said then chuckled. Before I start to talk, he talk again. "Can I court you?" He asked then he hug me so tight. "Hey hey! You asked if you can court me bakit yumayakap ka agad?" I said. He released his hug then faced me. "Sorry." He said, I saw sadness in his eyes. "Okay okay. Pumapayag na ko." Magsasalita na sana sya pero nagsalita ulit ako, "pero, tell to mom and dad. You know them." I said. Nakita kong nagulat sya pero unti unting napalitan ng tuwa. "Really?!" Tanong nya. Tumango naman ako. Aamba sana sya ng yakap pero pinigilan ko sya "hep hep." I said then laugh. Nakita ko ang pagbusangot nya. Cute! "Pano kaya manligaw ang isang trouble maker?" I asked. "Well, let's see." He said then smirked. I looked to my wrist watch and it's already 12:00 in the afternoon. Bigla akong nakaramdam ng gutom. Nakita kong tumingin din sya sa wrist watch nya. "Let's have a lunch together." He said. Tumango naman ako. "Pero saan?" I asked him. "Sa bahay nyo." He said. "Wow ha?! Hahaha." Natatawa kong sabi. "What's wrong?" He asked. Umiling ako at sabay sabing "nothing. So tara?" I asked at tumayo na. Tumayo din sya at dumiretso na kami sa kotse nya. Binuksan nya yung front seat para sakin then I said, "thanks." He smiled, at umikot sya papuntang driver's seat.

Nandito na kami sa bahay. Kausap namin ngayon sina mom and dad, si kuya nasa kwarto pa nya. Psh! Video games na naman inaatupag non. "So Andrei, kamusta ka na?" Mom asked. "Okay naman po Tita." He said. Tumango si mom. "So let's go to the dining area. I prepared late lunch." Mom said. Tumayo na kami at naglakad patungo sa dining area. He sat beside me. "Wag kang mahihiya Andrei ha? Di ka na bago dito samin. Feel at home ijo." Mom said to him. Dad is not around. He's with Tito Andy. "Mom, anong oras daw makaka uwi si Dad?" I asked to mom. "I'm not sure. You know naman kapag nagsama ang Dad at Tito Andy mo halos di na mapag hiwalay hayaan na muna natin." Mom said. Tumango ako at bumaling sya kay Andrei na ngayon ay nagsasandok ng ulam. "So, ijo what are you talking about earlier?" Mom asked Andrei. "Uh tita, magpapaalam lang po ako na nililigawan ko po si Thea." Deretsyang sagot ni Andrei kay mommy. Mom smiled widely. "Sure ijo, no problem. Basta wag mong sasaktan tong si Thea ah?" Mom said. Ngumiti si Andrei at tumango. I smiled to mom. They're supportive after all. We continue eating. Until my twin enter at dining area. "Hey twin." Bati ko sa kanya. "May bisita pala tayo?" He said then sat in front of me. "Yeah. Kanina ka pa kasi tinatawag eh. Ayaw mong bumaba." Pagsusungit ko sa kanya. He just rolled his eyes. Pah! Suplado! "By the way twin. You already knew Andrei." Sabi ko sa kanya. "Yeah." He said. He turned to Andrei and smiled. Andrei smiled back to him. "Theo, Andrei is courting Thea." Mom said to my twin. Theo immeditely turned to mom then sakin "whatever. Basta wag nyang sasaktan si Thea. Kundi patay sakin yan." Pag susungit nya. "Makakaasa ka bro. I'll never hurt Janelle." Andrei said. "Good then." Theo said.

After namin kumain ng lunch nag aya si Andrei mag mall. Napakagala talaga ng tao na re. But it's fine with me. Namiss ko din naman dito samin. Tagal ko ding nawala eh. "So hindi ka na aalis ulit?" He asked. Tumango ako, "dito na ko for good." I said. "Good then." He said.
