Unfortunately, Monday came.
I needed to clear things out, i asked to meet Tom at lunch time in the science lab.
"What's up? You've been gone for like 2 days  Sof" he started as i entered the empty room.
"I just needed time to think, and know what to say." i said, looking at my feet , i was stressed, my heartbeats were raising.

"Say what?"

"what? i can't hear you, you're whispering"

"okay just forget it" i tried to go away but he held my arm so tight.
"No, You were treating me so cold for the past few days, come on we're best friends we solve problems together, we always did"

"That's the thing, there is only one thing that i've hidden from you... i have feelings for you, i always did, i mean how couldn't I? you are the boy next door that got along with me so well , you protected me,made me laugh, we hang out all the time together doing reckless stuffs, i swear it was impossible not to develop feelings"

"No,No, hold on a second, you know that we can do anything.I love you but not in that way, you are a dear friend to my heart, i never thought of you in that way Sofie,now i have a girlfriend"
I think he wasn't upset or angry with me, he was sad..
Shit.
i feel pathetic.
I stood there, silent for a moment.
"Please, don't ruin this amazing frienship, i don't want to lose you"he whispered.

"I'm a selfish friend Tommy, that's the truth, it hurt seeing you kissing her, i couldn't bear the feeling..I ..I'm sorry" with that, i got out, not looking back, i knew a place where to cry for as long as i wanted, well the toilet obviously.

I was heartbroken, i hated myself, it felt like someone was choking me.

Our school held a homecoming before fall break as every year, i used to have a PARTNER before but this time i decided to stay at home .locked in my comfy room. Of cause Lyna insisted to stay with me, saying that it was her "duty" and she wanted to have a sleepover.
We watched old chick flick movies like Clueless and the breakfast club over and over ,we couldn't stop talking , sang shawn mendes' songs and ate a lot of junk food, basicly i acted like a depressed creepy old lady, because i couldn't handle the situation.
Thanks to her, i felt better.
"Hey!Give them back to me, i haven't finished yet!" i started screming.
"First of all,these skittles are mine, my money, my FREAKIN' food and second you don't want to have an extra layer of fat in your tummy, don't you?" she said, grinning from ear to ear, then she opened my closet , she seemedto search for something.

She threw a black pair of leggings and a tee on my face and said "Get your butt out of the bed and let's go for a walk by the shore".

"You're kidding right ?It's so cold out there"
i said.It is true , we were in november, nobody in their right might would go for a walk or run outside.
"Exacly girl, you'll get some fresh air" she said while closing the bathroom's door.

after 10 minutes of driving, we finally arrived at our destination, we put on headphones and listened to remember to forget you by shakira, i run as fast as i could, i wanted to turn the page and feel alive.
Working-out , that's what i call a 20 min run.
It was sunny today.
"Okay, i'm done... arn't you tired?i cant even feel my poor legs because of you"Lyna started complaining then she sat.

"I'm not the one who proposed the idea, besides you have chiken legs.." i laughed, she gave me a black glare.
I was texting mom when she asked:"Isn't that Alec?, he is approching us"
when i lifted my head i saw a tall guy with brown hair coming close to us, yes he definitely looked like Alec from 7th grade. He's all grown up since i saw him 5 years ago.
"Well arn't those 2 lyna and Sofie from middle school? how have you been ladies?"
he said, giving us a cute smile.
"Hey!we're good " "Morning Alec!" we greeted him.
"It's been a while since I last saw you" he said.
"Yeah, since you changed schools, you didn't make an appearance. Anyways,how are you?" i asked.

"Oh,my life is great for now "he answered.

Without waiting he said :"Well,girls, it was nice catching up with you, i gotta finish my run now!see you" then he continued running.

"Mom can't we get a delivery or something?"i asked my mom annoyed, i didn't want to go to the supermarket.

"Last time i checked they don't deliver vegetables and meat right!" she aswered.

"Ohh you're such an idle annoying girl, you're useless" said chloe. I think i'm going to kill her.

"SHUT UP OR I SWEAR YOU'LL NEVER EVER BORROW STUFFS FROM ME!"i threatened.

"Stop you two, i'm tired of you! you go right now end of discussion!" yelled my mom.
