I can see Briar is thinking about something and l have a pretty good idea on what it is. She is thinking about me, but she is also thinking about Tom. "B what's wrong?" "What, non no nothing is wrong." She says argumentatively "Bri l've known you since l was 10 l think I've known you long enough to know that your thinking about something." I say back
She turns around and looks at me and her eyes start tearing up. I look at her and pull her into a hug and she is sobbing in my chest and l just kiss her forehead and we stay there for a good minute then she pulls away from the hug. "I am afraid what people will think, especially Tom what if he hurts you or me or our friends or our family's l mean he as been violent before." "Bri if he try's to hurt me l will fight back for you, l won't punch back but l will do all l can go keep him away from you."
Then we soon feel asleep in each other's arms.
