Give it a chance

time

I'm almost done, Em. I signed and chuckled at his reaction.. like most men he hated how long it took for me to get ready. I put the finishing touches to my makeup and stood up. Emmett smiled happily and his arms wrapped around my waist, his head resting atop of mine. You look beautiful. He signed with one hand and then kissed my cheek before he took my small hand in his large one and led me downstairs. We exited the house after locking the door and headed towards the beautiful restaraunt he had made reservations at. Thankfully, Emmett's mother would be keeping our son for the night. we hadnt had a night to ourselves in so long.. it felt strange but I'd missed it horribly. As we drove I couldnt help but glance at Emmett every so often. He was such a great father.. such a great man. Sure we had our issues and downfalls but he never gave up on us. I blushed as he caught my gaze and that familiar smirk appeared on his face. He pulled into the lot of the restaraunt and parked before exiting and opening my door like the gentleman he is. I giggled at his old fashioned antics and grasped his hand as we entered the restaraunt. After a wonderful dinner and us laughing and talking (or signing) he then drove towards the familiar railroad tracks with an all to knowing smile. I grinned excitedly... we spent so much time as children here, he parked near a large hill and I watched as he got out and grabbed the few blankets he had brought for us to sit and snuggle under on the hill. I got out and helped him set up our space. I quickly sat down and smiled hearing a train whistle in the distance. It was setting sun by now and the sky was pink and orange tinted. Beautiful i signed, looking at the sky. Yes you are. Emmett signed with a smile on his face, I blushed at his words and leaned into his warm embrace. My lips found his and we kissed passionately, and almost like in a scene of some cheesy movie, the train wizzed past on the tracks ahead of us.
