It was at least three days until we'd gotten to be able to go home, and bring Levi home for the first time. It was a very hard switch for Emmett and I to go from being teenagers to having a newborn to take care of. But we seemed to be adjusting quite well... For the most part. Emmett seemed to get frustrated quite easily, since he couldn't hear the baby when he cried, he hardly wanted to leave Levi's presence, so he could be able to be alert and see if and when he began crying. I had tried assuring him I would tap him or give him some sort of signal if it happened, but he just seemed annoyed that I'd have to even go to that trouble at all. Lately, he'd been belittling himself due to the fact he couldn't hear or help as intently with certain things throughout Levi's life. It upset me a lot because he actually did a lot for the baby and i; watched Levi so I could get rest if itd been a tough night or simply just bottle fed him if I needed to cook dinner orsomething. He was an amazing father and we were adapting to the lifestyle quite well. Levi was the happiest baby.. he had big dimples in his cheeks from both emmett and I and he had Emmett's big blue eyes. He looked a lot like his father with only some features that resembled me.

A few months later~

Are you kidding me, Aria?   Emmett signed quickly, his movements fast and sharp... his temper had been far more worse than ever before lately. With Levi just beginning to sit up on his own and grasp things with his tiny fingers. Youre overreacting.. I trailed off signing much calmer and slower, he was annoyed because I refused to let Emmett's father babysit for us on a night out.. I just didnt feel comfortable with it.. with his hippy pot smoking dad and way too young wife. I want alone time with you, Aria! We havent had any since Levi was born! For Christ's sake my father-  I cut him off, signing quite fast for once. We can still go put.. I've asked your mother to watch him instead.. I dont trust your father.  I could tell by the look on Emmett's face that he was pissed off but he didnt have time to reply before the doorbell rang and the lights flickered signaling to Emmett that there was someone at the door, his mother was smiling and happy as ever to get to babysit little Levi.. it was true we hadn't had anyone watch him but ourselves.. I had bad issues trusting people with Levi. But I needed to take a chance because things had been strained with emmett and I and we needed time to ourselves for once.. even if only for a night.
