"I'm sorry if I'm late! I was at the park with my brother!" You apologize as you run up to the green haired teen.
"You didn't, I just got here... You okay?" He asks as you put your hands on your knees, trying to catch your breath.
"I... Am not a good runner... And that was... A long... Run..." You breathe. He frowns and looks around.
"Sit down for a bit... You could've just text me, I don't mind waiting," He tells you, lightly making you sit on a bench.
"That's rude, I hate making people wait," You pant as he walks over to a soda machine.
"It's not rude... You just got distracted, happens to everyone," He assures, inserting a dollar. You look toward him in slight surprise. He blinks at the machine. "You're looking at me like that again aren't you?" He huffs as he retrieves a water bottle out of the bottom.
"Sorry, I'm still misjudging you," You murmur, looking down as he approaches again. He holds the bottle into your line of sight. "Oh, thanks," You tell him, taking it.
"Don't mention it... You didn't leave your brother at the park didn't you?" He asks, sitting down beside you as drank some water.
"Never... He's with Ace and his brothers.... I'll stop by their place to get him after this," You reply.
"I didn't know you knew Ace," He comments.
"I do, we were at the same orphanage... I just act like I don't so I don't cause him trouble," You admit. He goes quiet and you glance over to see him looking at you. You blush a bit and get up. "A-Anyway, lets get those supplies shall we?" You add.
"Right," He says, getting up and following you in. You go through the isles as you both chat about the project. You collected the supplies as you went, occasionally stopping to laugh at him when he did something weird with one of the foam molds. He was smiling a bit himself by the time you were done. "I can pay for it," He says as you reach the cashier.
"No, I'll pay for it... But would you mind keeping everything at your place? My last project... Er... Got smashed," You say carefully. He raises an eyebrow.
"Sure, I don't mind... Are we going to work on it at my place too?" He asks. You pause, phasing out briefly to recall your last project.
"Preferably," You tell him.
"Alright, sounds good," He says, taking the bag after you paid. You nod as you both walk out. "Ace's place is kinda far... I'll walk with you until you get your brother," He offers.
"If you want, I don't mind... But I can handle myself," You tell him.
"Like you handled Kid last year?" He asks. You giggle sheepishly.
"He caught me at a bad time, believe it or not, I actually felt back for hitting him." You admit.
"I'd hate to catch you at a bad time, Kid still complains about his jaw now," He muses.
"Well maybe if he didn't talk so damn much..." You chuckle, he snickers as well and you reach Ace's house after some time. You stop and peer in the window and smile seeing Luffy and Light playing video games. Zoro peers in with you.
"Your brother?" He guesses, pointing at the golden eyed blond. You nod, feeling a bit proud.
"Yep! That's my brother Light," You chime.
"Intruders!" A battle cry sounds, making you look up as Ace leaps off the roof with a crazy grin. You squeak in surprise and Zoro pulls you out of the way before the freckled teen could land on you. Ace lands, laughing.
"Sorry, I thought you were some creeps watching my little brother." He chuckles.
"Glad to know you're being protective." You say sarcastically.
"Actually he was just trying to scare you," Sabo says from behind you, making tense.
"Dammit Sabo! Don't do that!" You huff. He frowns a bit.
"Why are you scolding me? Ace his the one that jumped off a roof at you," He reminds you. You turn your head to scold Ace but pause, seeing him taking pictures of you with his phone.
"What are you doing?" You ask warily. He smirks and turns his screen to you, showing a picture of Zoro holding you to him and your hands on his chest, both looking at the camera in confusion.
"You guys are really cute together," He comments. You and Zoro realize you were still in that position and swiftly break apart.
"Anyway, you're okay now right?" Zoro says.
"Actually ___, we just came from that way..." Sabo begins. You meet his blue gaze. Ace nods solemnly too. Zoro lifts a confused eyebrow.
"Oh... Well, guess we'll be staying the night then... Thanks Zoro, I'll uh, see you tomorrow?" You ask, trying to sound enthusiastic for him. He seems concerned, but nods anyway.
"Alright... I'll text you later.... I mean- about the project," he tells you.
"Okay," You chuckle as he slowly leaves. Ace nudges you with a smirk.
"So, he your type?" He rumbles, gesturing to Zoro.
"Wha-? I barely know the guy Ace," You huff, pushing him playfully.
"Youre gonna like him once you get to know him," He says, as you both start into the house with Sabo close behind.
"I'm sure I will. Light! We're taking this place over tonight!" You declare with a grin.
"Yay! Friendly takeover!"

"So, how bad?" You ask after Light and Luffy had gone to bed.
"Coach Smoker was there, he asked where you and Light, so we told him you'd be staying with us." Sabo tells you. You nod, Smoker doubled as a police officer and One Piece High's coach, which was cool since he would fill in your teachers for you, saved you the trouble of beautifying the truth.
"Anyway, looked like Debbie stabbed Adam with a piece of broken glass," Ace adds. You sigh, rubbing your temple.
"So he's in the hospital and she's spending the night in jail?" You guess. Sabo nods, frowning again.
"Why don't you take a shower? I washed your clothes from last time," He tells you, getting up to get the said clothes and towel.
"Alright... Thanks guys... Sorry for bothering you, " You tell them. Sabo whirls around, opening his mouth to deny the last part but stops when Ace suddenly hugs you tight.
"Idiot, you're like our sister. We'd do anything to make sure you and Light are safe," He tells you. Sabo relaxes and smiles.
"It's true ___, we're here for you no matter what," He agrees. You smile at them and hug them both.
"Thanks guys."
