Chapter 20: Missing [2]

It's been about 2 day's since loosing mugman and Boris, we went back to see if they were still there but to no luck they weren't.

Since then we still been looking, and Cuphead's not taking it to well. It's his first time being separated from his brother like this, but me I'm confident that Boris is okay because he survived on his own for the longest time without me when this all started.

I just hope we find them eventually.

~With Boris and Mugman~

•Boris POV•

We sat down on the log near the fire, an awkward silence spreading over all 5 of us.

Yup you guessed it, me and mugman where atually saved by osswald, Mickey and Felix. Yeah, I guess Felix got some of his memories back, hopefully, if not then they might've just left us to die.

Osswald sighed, bringing our attention to him. "You might be wondering why we..uh saved you...and well, since you and your group left after a month or so Felix got some memories back and well if it wasn't for you or your group, then me and Felix wouldn't be together." Osswald smiled.

I sighed a breath of relief, smiling a bit myself, "so does this mean you'll help me and mugman find bendy and Cuphead?" I asked still couscous of trusting them.

He nodded, grabbing Felix's hand, standing up with Mickey. "Yeah, we'll start looking now..if it's okay with you?" He said, sounding more like a question I just nodded, smiling and getting up along with mugman.

He nodded, smiling slightly and started to head out of the forest and to red mountain. "They might think that y'all headed towards red mountain since your all heading there.." he mumbled just for me and mugman to hear.

I took mugman's hand, blushing a bit and taking the lead, following osswald and the others.

•Bendy POV•

Cuphead had the idea to start heading to red mountain again since there might be a chance Boris and mugman are heading that way.

It just turned night and now we're resting in a tree, me laying on his chest and him behind me, his arms wrapped around me protectively.

I sighed, my eyes droopy, looking around the forest. I heard movement coming from the forest, in alert I looked back at Cuphead to see that he was looking the same way I was, obviously he heard it to.

"Sounds like talking.." Cuphead mumbled.
"It could be mugman and boris!" He whisper shouted, looking over to me with a smile. His eyes suddenly brightened up with hope.

I smile at him, nodding slightly. "We can check...but if it's other survivor's, there's a chance they might not be to friendly with us..". He nodded, understanding.

"Alright..I'll be careful, but your coming with me" I was about to complain, but he suddenly cut me off by picking me up and quickly but carefully climbing down the tree.

He put me down, carefully trying not to hurt me.

"Could've been worn me next time" I Said, in a teasing manner. He just rolled his eyes, grinning slightly.

He motioned for me to follow him, going deeper into the woods, trying to be quite as possible.

...

We stopped, seeing a campfire light. Cuphead walked a few steps closer, bending down into a bush to not be seen, me doing the same.

He gasped, I squinted, adjusting to the light in front of me. My eyes widened, seeing osswald, Mickey, Felix, Boris, And Mugman.

They we're all talking around the camp fire, me not hearing anything.

"Why are they with them?!" I whispered to myself. I looked up at Cuphead, seeing slight anger and relief in his eyes.

Cuphead got up, walking into veiw. i sighed doing the same.

They took alarm, about to pull out weapons. Seeing us, mugman and boris gasped, smiling wide.

"Bendy!"

"Cups!

They said in sync, running over to us. I embraced Boris the best I could with my height, trying not to make this an awkward hug.

I pulled away, motioning him to bend down to my height. He did so. I leaned into his ear whispering my question.

"Why are you with THEM?"

Boris pulled back, smiling. He opened his mouth to answer but got cut off by osswald.

"I'll explain" he said, I looked at him, then to cup, getting his nod of approval. I looked back at osswald, nodding slightly in as to say 'okay'.

I shook osswald's hand, thanking him for saving Boris and mugs.

After a while we then all discussed that it was a better idea for us to all stick to together, due to of more of the creature's coming out more often.

"We'll start heading the rest of the way to red mountain tomorrow"

We all nodded in agreement. I smiled.
I guess this isn't that bad after all.

Oof- uh rn it's 12:07 Sooo just finished this cause I was mostly just bored and I did promise that I would finish a chapter to this for this week. Sooo here y'all go! I tried to make it long up to like 800 or so words UwU, and yay :3 it worked xD

Oof btw just a couple more chapters of this and then it's on to the sequel! >:3 woo hoo! xD yaaay another story to worry about xD
