Chapter 21: back on track

Sorry for the long wait! I was currently grounded for a week until Thanksgiving but I got one day removed from my grounding *cough* thankfully UwU.

Anyways here is the important thing;

There will be a slight glimpse/hint of maybe a new character (2) that will be in this and will be indeed have a connection to the sequel that's coming.

Her name? You gotta read it -w-. BUT she might not show up in the sequel for uh reasons that I don't want to explain because of spoilers. UwU

Bendy POV

I groaned, squinting my eyes as I kept walking beside Cuphead. 'why did I say to leave early, this early?!' I sighed, annoyed with myself.

'We've been walking for 3 hours, how are we not there yet?!; Aaanndd it's night, great'.

Hearing a loud thud, we all turned our heads towards the back, seeing that Boris collapsed, fainted to be exact.

Mugman helped Boris up, while me and Cuphead sat together under a tree.

...

I looked around anxiously as I listen to my surroundings, rarely hearing birds chirping.

I sighed, leaning back and listening to the air blowing past me, closing my eyes and relaxing.

                                    Silence

Silence

                     Silence

            Silence

*SNAP*

In alert, we all turned in the direction on the sound.

*SNAP*

This time, osswald, Felix, mugman, Cuphead and me all stood up, getting ready to draw our weapons. The others staying sitting down.

I tensed up, hearing footsteps, getting more closer.

"GET IN THE TREES!"

I turned to Cuphead, him starting to climb up. I looked around, noticing everyone trying to get up and quick.

I started to do the same, a bit scared of what is about to happen next.

Finally getting up the tree, I sat on a branch.
I looked over at osswald, seeing that he has his rifle out and ready to shoot.

I looked over at Cuphead, seeing that he also has his gun out.I gulped, starring down at the ground below me.

Osswald cocked his gun, hearing the running footsteps get closer and closer.

Finally seeing the targets in veiw, I examined the two.

One of them, looking like a demon type but taller than me, but with her tail shaped like a diamond.

The second one, obviously a cat and female, looking like she's about to-

*Thud*

Oh well she passed out. I looked over at osswald, seeing that he put away his rifle, and same with Cuphead.

I looked back down, hearing some quiet sobs.

The demon sat there, shaking her friend, trying to wake her up. I furrowed my brows, concerned.

I looked back at Cuphead, seeing him nod, taking the hint I climbed down, seeing the others do aswell.

~3rd person POV~

Cuphead gulped, standing near bendy while leaning over so he can see the incident more clearly. "M-ma'am, are you..alright?" He asked, concern clear in his voice.

The demon looked up, her emerald eyes looking over to the group. Her mouth gaped open, not forming any words, she looked back down at her friend.

Osswald walked over, hand on her shoulder. "Ma'am your friend looks injured we can help her...promise." She looked up at osswald, uncertainty in her eyes. Osswald sighed. "We're your only hope right now in this situation...you have to trust us..".

Osswald gave her a genuine smile. She smiled back at him. Hestaintly, she nodded slowly. "Now, just show us where the injury is".

///~Timeskip~\\\ (still 3rd person)

Osswald sat next to the women, looking over at how her friends injury is getting better or worse.

he jumped hearing the women's voice, "Pandoria". Osswald looked over at her, confused but shocked. She cleared her throat before speaking up again, "my name is Pandoria..sorry for not saying anything before". She smiled a bit at him, sounding a bit raspy.

Osswald blinked a few times, smiling back at her, he turned his attention to the cat again. "It's alright, I'm osswald by the way".

She smiled to herself.

(Timeskip to where she (cat) woke up & back on the way to the mountain)

~Bendy POV~

We said our goodbyes to the two girls, sumaie and Pandoria. We waved back at them, smiling.

I sighed, turning and running to catch up with the others.

I smiled, looking up at Cuphead and grabbing his hand, blushing lightly. He returned the smile, looking down at me.

. . . . . .

I looked back up at Cuphead, slightly tugging on his hand to get his attention. He looked down at me, confused, "what do you think will happen when we fix this...mess?" I tilted my head in curiosity.

Cuphead looked up in thought for a second before looking back down at me, smiling brightly, "well..once we can atually go on a date and start this relationship as a real one.." he said, squeezing my hand lightly. I smiled up at him, leaning my head onto his arm, closing my eyes.

"That sounds nice"
