Just one call to start it all- a chandler Riggs fanfic

Epilogue

~ 5 years later ~

I am sitting here typing on my laptop when Chandler comes bursting through the door

"It came" he said breathlessly

I got up from my chair and made my way over to him and grabbed the envelope that he had in his hands and looked it over. What is inside this envelope can determine how the rest of my life could play out aside from how it is already. Right now Chandler and I are both twenty and have our own apartment. We actually moved in together about a year and a half ago. We all decided that after about six years of being together it was safe to say we would be together for a long time. I have to admit though there was a time when we did take a break for about six months, but we both couldn't take being away from each other so we got back together and well here we are

"Well are you going to open it" he asked nudging my shoulder I nodded and slowly took out the folded piece of paper and scan over it before reading it "What does it say" he asked getting impatient 

"Dear Krista Burnstein, Congratulations on behalf of the faculty and staff of Michigan State University. It is with great plessure that I inform you of your admission to MSU as a member of the class 2019-

"YOU GOT IN!" Chandler screamed before I could even finish the letter. he ran over to me embracing me in a hug and spinning me around

"I can't believe it, this is this is just amazing" I said completely dumbfounded looking over the letter once again I let out a squeal before running back over to Chandler and hugging him again

"You deserve it you really do" he said into my shoulder

So the story in why I applied for MSU is because it is one of the top rank schools with an outstanding criminal justice program and that will help me alot considering I really want to be in the FBI. You may ask what about acting and truthfully I love acting but I just think it is time for me to try new things I had already put college off for two years because I didn't know what I wanted to do and now I do. The only bad part is I don't think Chandler is coming with me he still is in the walking dead and I think plans on staying there until the series finale 

"Hey you ok?" Chandler asked putting a hand on my shoulder

"Yeah I'm ok" I said with a half heartly smile

"What's wrong?" he asked being able to see right through me

"I just I don't know what I am going to do without you when I move to Michigan" I said resting my head on his shoulder

"I'll be right back" he said as he hurriedly ran into the bedroom. he came out a few seconds later with a tiny purple box in his hand

I stared at him confused until he took a ring out of the box and placed it on my ring finger I looked up at him in shock

"Its a promise ring" he said as I stared down at the ring it was simple and thats why I loved it it was a silver band with a blue stone in it and it was engraved to say forever. (Pic on side)

"I don't understand why are you giving me this"

"Everytime you look down you will see this ring and think of me and how I promise to love you no matter the day or the distance" he said grabbing my and playing with my fingers

"But when I move I just I know this promise ring means what you said I'm just scared I am going to lose you" I said trying to hold back the tears

"That's never going to happen"

"But how can you be so sure"

"Krista I am not going anywhere" he said looking me dead in the eyes

"When I move it just I don't know" 

"Well I gues its a good thing I plan to move with you" he smiled

"What are you talking about" I asked my eyes wide

"I mean we're going to move to Michiagan for the time you are in school then we will move back here or Pittsburgh it doesn't matter all I know is the day you graduate will be the day that I will make a scene and get down on one knee in front of the entire university and propose to you" He said looking me in the eyes and at this point I was already crying. 

he grabbed my face and kissed the tears away before kissing my lips

"I love you" he said laying down and pulling me with him

"I love you too" I said resting my head on his chest "You know its funny"

"What is?" he asked looking down at me

"The first time I met you I got a phone call and that phone call told me that I was going to be on The Walking Dead and you know I just realized that call is what started it all for us" He looked at me and smiled before kissing me again

But it was true if I didn't get that call I wouldn't be where I am today. All it took was one call to bring two teenagers together to share incredible memories. To share a love story that couldn't be broke. To share a life with each other and never regret it and well all it took was

One call to start it all. 

SO LITERALLY CRYING BECAUSE THIS BOOK IS OVER I KNOW I SAID THANK YOU BEFORE BUT I'M GONNA SAY IT AGAIN THANK YOU GUYS SOOOO MUCH FOR JUST STICKING THROUGH THIS WITH ME I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU ALLLL!!
