|Chapter Ten|

   It was the day of the festival, and everyone was waiting inside the 1-A waiting area. Everyone had to wear their PE uniforms, just so things were fair. (Y/n) and Katsuki were currently sitting at a table with Kaminari, and Kirishima. The door then opens, and Iida walks in.

   "Everyone, get your game faces on!" He yells. "We're about to enter the arena!"

   (Y/n) stands up, and she does some simple calmly breathing exercises. Izuku joins her, and she teaches him how to do it so it'll calm him down easier.

   "Midoriya, (l/n)." Shouto says as he walks up to the two. (Y/n) looks at Shouto confused, he never calls her by her last name.

   "Hey Todoroki, what's up?" Izuku asks cutely.

   "From an objective standpoint, I think it's fairly clear I'm stronger than you two." He says. (Y/n) crosses her arms and raises her eyebrow, and Izuku looks down shyly. "However, you've got All Might in your corner, helping you out."

   He looks at Izuku.

   "I'm not here to pry about what's with you two." He says. "But know I will beat you both."

   "Well, once we're in the arena, we'll have to see, Todoroki." (Y/n) says with a smirk. The two stare each other down. Even though they are friends, they can get extremely competitive.

   "What's with all these declarations of war lately?" Kaminari asks with a smile. Kirishima stands up, and puts his hand on Shouto's shoulder.

   "Yeah, what's the big deal?" Kirishima asks. "Why're you pickin' a fight all of a sudden? And right before we get started?"

   "We're not here to be each other's friends." Shouto says shoving Kirishima's hand off his shoulder. This immediately pisses off (y/n). "Don't forget. This isn't a team effort." He says as he starts to walk away.

   "Is that what you thought when we were kids?" (Y/n) asks him lowly. She glares at him as her eyes glow. He stops and turns around to see her angered face. "Is that what you thought when I was bleeding to death?"

   He looks at her, his eyes widened a little bit.

   "I will beat you, Todoroki. Not for my shitty father, only for me." She says angrily. "You're only saying you're going to beat me, is because you know I have a chance of beating you."

   All of the students walk into the arena, all of them looking determined to win. Fireworks are blown into the air, and the crowd cheers as everyone walks out. The media taking videos, and some taking pictures. Normally (y/n) would hate this setting, but she knew it didn't matter. This is the real world, sometimes you don't get what you want.

   "I will win." (Y/n) says as she walks with Kirishima and Katsuki.

   "Calm down a bit, sis." Kirishima says with a smile. "I know you're a little ticked off, but try and keep your cool."

   "Sis?" She asks with a smile. Kirishima's eyes widen and his cheeks turn red.

   "I-I'm so-sorry! I didn't mean...I just-"

   "No, it's okay, I like it. I've never had a sibling." She says with a giggle. "It's nice."

   "At least I don't have to worry about you near her anymore." Katsuki says putting his arm around (y/n). She rolls her eyes at this.
