Chapter 1 - Moving to Queens Newyork

Howletta ~ 

my mother had picked me up about 15 minutes ago from the airport but now we sat in the car where the awkward tention was almost unbareable  

That's when she started telling about how she didn't know how I'd like my room so she figured if I wanted to I could go out a explore Newyork and pick up some room decor since she found out I was coming she had saved up money to surprise me I felt a little bad when I told her that it was super sweet of her but she didn't have to since dad's death I also inhareted his money I told her we could use it to pay bills or whatever we needed she said she didn't have to use dad's money since it was technically mine with that said we pulled up to a small two story red brick house with a small wooden fence along the yard

I helped unload my trunks an suitcases from the car soon my mom was already inside and half way up the stairs showing me to my room she told me to settle in and she'd order pizza a New York special

I thanked her again and began to unpack some clothes and books I laid out my hair brush and very basic makeup down on the small vanity I then walked into my bathroom where I put my contacts , basic bathroom things like my tooth brush

After filling up most of my closest and book self's I decided to take a break and headed down stairs where I found my mom working on a computer I nervously said hey causing her to look up and say hey back we talked a little she ordered pizza and started telling me about her work that's when she dropped that I'd be going to public school my very shocked expression must of made it clear that I was nervous I had never gone to public school but of course she wouldn't know that

Just before anything else could be said the bell rang and my mom rushed to the door grabbing a twenty dollar bill when she returned she was holding two boxes of amazing smelling food

We sat there eating dinner while she explained how the TV in my room worked and she gave me the wifi password for my laptop I brought with me after eating I helped with dishes the clock read 11:04 my mother headed off to bed since she told me I wouldn't be starting school until Monday I decided to do the things I loved most onve my mom was sound asleep I snuck out outside my bedroom window and decided to take a nightly stroll under the beautiful full moon

After a while I wondered into what looked to be a little park I walked for awhile I didn't really stop cause I could hear and smell someone behind me it was a man roughly in his late twenty's early thirties so I picked up my pace a little

"Hey sweetheart hold up looking for someone with the money I can pay ya " the man half whispered yelled

"I don't want your money go away " I yelled back growing angrier when I glanced back to see if the guy was still following someone had stepped out of the woods near by causing me to fall on my back after bumping into them

There was another man this one was broader than the other probably older as well just as I got up the other guy had caught up when I tried to pass the man I accidentally ran into after apologizing he stepped in my way I started to worry on what his intentions were that's when the the other man grabbed my wrist pulling me to face him

" I said I've got money now take it whore " he growled his breath intoxicated with the smell of alcohol

" I said I don't want your money you got me confused I'm not like that I don't sleep around with losers for money  " I stated sarcastically in false hope of not having to use my powers

The drunken douche bag started to unzip my black hoodie I hadn't realized that I was pinned against the larger man until I went to use my spare arm which turned out to be pinned behind my back

That's when a voice yelled out " hey I think she's made it pretty clear she doesn't sleep around for money so let her go now " the voice came from a guy wearing what seemed to be a superhero suit my guess was that he to was a mutant but he was clearly one of the good ones

" Or what kid " asked the man who had unziped my hoodie before groping my breast making me spit in his face and use my super human strength to tear my arm out of his grip suddenly a web like martial wrapped him snd the taller fella up

Once freed I thanked the guy who said his name was Spiderman of course I made sure my bangs and hoodie hid most of my face once out of sight using my human speed I rushed back to my new home and snuck back into my room

I then changed into pajamas and finally let out a sigh of relief I tried to never use my powers in fear of being discovered I mean I wouldn't of let them go to far I just try to reason first so I won't get discovered by the government or mutant hunters Like my dad was

And with that I decided to go to sleep after locking my window and turning off the light on my way to my bed I realized if that Spiderman even caught a glimpse of my eye or eyes he'd be able to recognize me with that in mine I crawled in bed and slowly drifted off to sleep

I followed the girl I just saved from way afar just to make sure she'd get home safely she began to run faster then anyone I knew even those on the track team at school so that forced me to swing from house to house faster until I watched her sneak through what I was geussing to be her bedroom window I watched as she locked it that's when I noticed she had a really green eye like unnatrually green she then turned around and disappeared and the lights soon turned off not long after that so I started heading back home
