Being the little Mikaelson sister is no fun, you are never involved in any family issues ever. Infact keeping you safe is the biggest issue and responsibility that your siblings need to take care off. They love you alot, they don't want to see you hurt in any manner by anybody.
You may be a 17 year old since a millenium but they still treat you like their baby sister.
Klaus old frenemy Lucien was in New Orleans and he had the last surviving white oak converted in bullets for each single one of the Mikaelson. You being naive and less experienced with enemies were an easy target. Klaus wanted to protect you from him and was putting you into hiding.

"Why the hell, you always want to send me away Nik"

"Cause we care about you now go with Davina she'll keep you safe"

"No i'm not going anywhere and you can't make me, Rebekah please stop him"

"I'm sorry, Nik is right you need to go ASAP"

"Darling go with my wife, she'll keep you safe"

"Niklaus is right, go now"

"But but Elijah and Kol please, I'll help you fight him and kill him I am strong and brave enough, oh come on I am original for gods sake"

The next moment everything turned black, klaus had snapped your neck and sent you forcefully to hiding.
