Being the youngest Mikealson and having nightmares

It was 7:00 am, I tiredly went down to the kitchen to make breakfast for myself and surprisingly saw Elijah there.

" Very early good morning to you Y/N, don't tell me you could not sleep because of those nightmares"

"What! No I just forgot to change my alarm and woke up early, you know boarding school timings, anyways whats for breakfast?"

I didn't want him or anybody else to know that I have been scared the shit out the whole night cause of these nightmares, so I changed the subject.

"I made your favourite, nutella pancakes"

"Thank you Elijah you are the best!"

I was trying to act pretty normal the whole day, but I guess I am not that great at acting cause every once in a while everybody was giving me worried looks and asking me if I was okay.

Past 11pm

" Darling are you sure you would be fine sleeping alone in your room"

"Yes Kol I'll be fine, I am not a kid anymore"

"Goodnight guys"

I hugged each of them goodnight, and went to bed, hoping that they no longer worry about me for the rest of the night.

"NO NO STOP DON'T PLEASE STAY AWAY
AHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

I woke up screaming and had tears down my face, just then the door bursted open and Klaus ran in and held me in his arms.

"Klaus that that tha... guy he trieeed to
I..... I..... can't......"

"Shhh..... there is nobody here love, except me, you are completely safe, please stop crying love, it was just a nightmare you are safe. Take deep breaths love"

You felt safe in your elder brothers' arms.

"Love you want me to get something for you, you want water?"

You shook your head frantically,
"Please stay"

"I am right here love, to protect you always, now try going back to bed"

"I can't I am too scared please don't make me sleep again"

"Y/N If you want I can compel you too sleep this way you won't have nightmares"

You didn't say anything and he took your silence as a yes and compelled you to sleep, and stayed in your room as he promised.

You had the most peaceful sleep in weeks.
