The race deal

Taylor's POV

" ok line up everyone "Mr. Measly our drama teacher says

"So as everyone knows that some of the children from Anderson High has transferred here, due to the fire that started. But at least no lives have been lost. But what I also wanted to say is that we may be rival schools, but please may we get along " he finishes of

Right on qui some children from Anderson High walked in and so did Daniel. Right there and then my smile dropped from my face.

Oh lucky me I'm stuck with daniel. Note the sarcasm

"ok everyone get into 9 rows and in each row there must be 6 people each. You know how I like keeping things in order " Mr. Measly says well walking around making sure that everyone was standing in the right way

But he was for sure a control freak wanting everything  in perfect order. Like one time he came into the class and put everything down on his desk like he does everyday. He always makes sure that his pencils and everything are in place. Just then one off the boys on the football team walked in the class in a rush to his place he then knocked Mr. Measlys desk and the stuff fell on the floor

He was so angry that poor old Jack got detention for 3 weeks

I lined up in the last row because there wasn't any space for me in front. But unfortunately Daniel was in the last row too so I was stuck with him annoying me too death

"the mind over is this year "he says well I'm trying to ignore him

"I heard that it's the last time they will hosting it " hey says, well I'm still trying to ignore him

"but the school will definitely win this year because I'm competing. They won't need you " with that said I start laughing

"wow. You really think they will want someone that just came into this school. Someone they're not even sure they can trust. You really think they will choose you over me. You've got to be kidding "I say with a smirk on my face

"so that's what it takes for the little princess to talk to me, a little competition. " he say well looking at me

"don't call me Princess or little. I don't like having pet names. " I say with anger

Like seriously who calls a person princess,  or any other dumb name like kitty, darling, cupcake, muffin and don't get me started with the whole babe thing. I hate being called babe, like really I have a name for a reason

Once a guy on the football team tried to flirt with me, and let's just say it didn't end well. Why you might ask well, because he called me babe. And I punched him. In the face. With a book.

Well let's just say that got a little over board but like I said. I don't like being called babe

"don't worry now I know how to irritate you more princess. "he says still calling me that stupid pet name he  gave me

Now I was starting to get annoyed

"so if we both want to be in and only one of us can compete I have a idea. How about you and me take a race. In this race we will see who is faster and stronger. That way we will know who will be better in the mind over. Do we get a deal princes " he says well putting his hand out for me to shake

I'm positive that I will win. I did beat him in hockey and soccer.

"find we have a deal " I just sold myself to the devil

"so let me get this straight. You'll want to have a race to see who is stronger and faster, so you'll can see who must compete in the mind over. " our teacher Mrs. Katrina says with a confused look on her face

We had to ask her for permission to do the race since she will be hosting the mind over for this year

"yes, what you exactly said right now " Daniel says

" wait aren't you'll suppose to be in class at this time " she says well looking at the watch on her wrist

"yes but the sir said we could dismiss early today since he had something important to do " I say lying straight through my teeth

After we made the deal me and Daniel had successfully  snuck out the class with out Mr. Measly catching us. I'm pretty sure we don't need drama that much

"ok listen kids you know that-" she was cut of by Daniel

"oh come on don't say no. I can finally show Princess over here who's King. " Daniel says to to Mrs. Katrina well giving her his signature smirk

This made Mrs. Katrina laugh. It made me and Daniel confused as to why she was laughing when we clearly were being serious about all of this

"you know what kids you'll two amuse me. You'll can have your little race. But I will judge myself who wins. "she says

"OK " me and Daniel say St The same time

"get into position " Mrs. Katrina says with the whistle in her hand

Me and Daniel are on the field in our running positions well Mrs. Katrina is judging us to see who will win

"on your marks " me and Daniel look at eachother

"ready, set " Mrs. Katrina says

"good luck Princess "Daniel says

"Go!" and with that we both speed off

I started of slow taking a nice pace well as Daniel, pushed him self to the finish line. You see why I always win is because I'm smarter. I don't use all my energy at the beginning because it makes you tired. At the last moment  I started running fast and at that moment the person that passed the finish line and won the race was....

Hey so why do you think won the race. Even though it's obvious who won I still like ending a chapter in a suspence

And also I just edited the first chapter and at first whence wrote it I didn't realize all the mistakes. So if this is your first time reading this book you are lucky because I fixed all the spelling mistakes
