maddie's p.o.v.
"what the actual f.ck?", he was startled as soon as i came in, making him close his laptop and throwing it onto the bed.
"jesus, you scared me.", he said. at this point, i felt a sense of relief. relieved that he wasn't f.cking some random chick.
"thank god it was just a video.", i said.
"you'd actually think i'd cheat on you?", he asked.
"umm... actually, yeah."
"what makes you say that?", he asks with a puzzled look.
"cuz you're hot and you could probably get whoever you want."
"aww, so you're saying i'm hot?"
"fck off,", i tell him while he motions me to lay down next to him.
"why haven't you been replying to my texts?", i asked.
"didn't you receive my e-mail? i'm getting my phone repaired since i dropped it down the toilet."
"no, cuz who the f.ck opens their e-mail?"
"uhh... me?"
"whatever."

we ended up watching legally blonde while laying down in bed.
"my biological dad's visiting me tomorrow. he said he's going to introduce me to his other son." he said.
"how long have you not seen him for?"
"a long time. the last time i saw him was when i was 6."
"are you excited?"
"no. he was a douchebag."
"well, i'm hoping that tomorrow would be good."
"me too. just call me if you need anything."
"i will."

it was around 1 am when i got home. everyone was asleep, which was great.

it took us about 6 rounds before i felt sleepy.

the next day, chris had asked me to come over to meet his biological dad and his step-brother.
i rang the doorbell and a guy who's around chris's age opened the door.
"can i help you?"
"i'm madd-"
suddenly, i was interrupted by chris.
"maddie, you're here! let me introduce you to everybody,"
we got inside his house and his whole family was there. he introduced me to everybody and i'm glad that he was really happy.
"oh and that's carter, my step-brother." it was the guy who opened the door a while ago. i just smiled at him and he smiled back.

when it was time to leave, i said goodbye to everybody and chris walked me out the door. when i was a few feet away from their house, somebody grabbed my arm.
"hey, i think you left something." it was my lipstick. it probably fell out of my pocket.
"oh, right." i was about to walk away, until i realized i had forgotten to thank him.
"thank you, carter."
"sure thing. i'd see you around i guess."

when i got home, i saw a notification pop up.

i follow him back and check his profile. he currently lives in the UK and i see a lot of thirsty hoes in the comments.
a few minutes later, i get another notification. it was a text and a picture from him. i open it and it was a picture of him biting his lip.
