Luca POV.
I didn't get a wink last night. With my father dying and the mafia, I haven't had proper sleep in a while. I'm going to regret not sleeping.

I looked at the clock on my nightstand 5:30 I better get up and get ready for school. I got up from the bed and started my morning routine

" here we go again" I changed into my school clothes that consisted of jeans and a black v-neck nothing much. I grabbed my phone and book bag and walked down the stairs.

"Ciao mamma"(hey mom) I said as I walked into the kitchen talking a seat at the island

"Buongiorno Luca"(good morning Luca)

"così, Quello che stiamo avendo per la prima colazione?"(so, What are we having for breakfast) I said while trying to look over my mom

"Just pancakes"

She picked up three pancakes and put it on a plate and handed it to me

I grabbed a fork and a knife and was ready to dig in but I was stopped by the sound of the door opening

"Hey Luca you ready to go"Xavier my best friend said

"Does it look like I'm ready to go"I said while pointing at my food

"Hey no need for attitude"he said putting his hands up in surrender I don't play when it comes to me eating food

"Oh hey Xavier do you want some pancakes too"my mom said turning around with a plate of pancakes

"No ma'am I'm not hungry"

"Come on Xavier and what did I tell you about calling me ma'am"

"You told me to call you mom"

"That's right so why is it that you still call me ma'am"

"No reason I just forgot"

"Okay now come and sit down get yourself some pancakes"she said while setting down a plate of pancakes next to me

"Thank you ma'am"

"Xavier" my mom said with a warning look

"Okay thanks mom"

"Now that's more like it"

You see I've known Xavier since I was three years old we've been best friends for the longest he's my ride or die he's been with me through the ups and downs he's like a brother I never had considering I'm an only child he is a brother I never had

a couple minutes later we're done with our food and I pick up my dishes to put them in the sink later on follows Xavier

"You done now"Xavier said while putting the dishes in the sink

"Yeah"

Before we left I have a kiss to my mom on the cheeks and said goodbye

We walk to the front door and we went outside

"Luca thank you again for the car"

"Ah no need"

I had bought Xavier car for his birthday a couple of days ago and he still haven't stopped thanking me it's a black BMW i8 his favorite car

Later on we made it to hell I mean School as we got out of the car we went over to our other friends Mason Michael and Samantha
