~Drew's POV~

There are unavoidable moments, that will divide your life into the before, and the after. I'm living in the after. But I don't exactly know what all the before is. When I was a child and things were good? Being on tour with so many people that I cared about? It's all over now, so all I can do is mutter through and remember, life goes on.

I wrap my fingers around the white cup, sipping the soothing black liquid that will get me through yet another day. Coffee has healing powers of its own. Hayes, his bright blue eyes shut, dark hair matted in all directions. He woke up sometime last night, confused, hurting. The doctors want to keep him for another day or two, for observation and to make sure his body is acting as it should.

My phone rang, I looked to Will who was passed out in the chair, his chest moving up and down. I hold the phone to my ear, seeing who it was, whispering, “hey.”

“How's Hayes doing?” Mahogany asked.

“Better, he's sleeping right now. Earlier the doctors said they are going to keep him another day or two then he can leave.”

“What's going to happen after that?” She questioned.

“That's up to him, he has a few options. Move with me to California, to Florida with Will, go back with my Mom and George, or back to Magcon.” I hush.

“Why can't you both come back to Magcon? Everything is different with out you two, the whole dynamic of it is off. It's not right, ya know? I miss you Drew, a lot.”

“I know red, but I can't. Not with everything that has happened. I just- I can't.” I mumble.

“Drew, talk to me. What's going on with you? I understand what Jack did, was horrible, but you forgive people, your Father aside. Why won't you forgive Jack for this?”

“Because he'd never forgive me for what I did,” I choke back my breath.

“What did you do?”

“Never repeat this, ever. I mean it.”

“I won't, you can tell me anything, you know that. Drew, what happened?”

“Remember the beach house in Miami?” I ask.

“Yeah?”

“Well that is when I cheated on Jack,” I spoke, and I could the other line go all but silent.

The third day in Miami, it's blistering hot, and everyone has taken refuge in the cool water. Between the few on the jet skis, a few swatting around a football, others simply swimming. Mahogany and Preston had left, to explore the board walk not too far away.

Hey baby,”Jack cooed, pressing a kiss to my forehead, “a few of the guys and I are going to head to get some gas for the jet skis, we're going to stop at the store to, you need anything?”

Nope, I'm all good. Have fun.” I spoke, I waved goodbye as Jack, Sam, Johnson, and Taylor walked away, piling into the car with gas cans.

I slipped back on my flip flops, exploring, leaving everyone behind as they were soaking in the sun. The sand sank in between my feet, crinkling in my toes. I set my sights on the beautiful rocks, huge boulders lining the shore.

I peer around the corner of the dark gray rocks, and tucked in their, staring out to sea, pondering his own thoughts was Cameron, sinking his fists into the sand. “Hey, what are you doing out here?” I asked, sitting down next to him.
