Chapter 1

hi, i am here with a short story on behir... as for anyone reading for love and revenge, please wait patiently as i will be updating it soon. so, let's begin....

bela was on her way back home from the haveli and she couldn't believe what naag guru had told her. mahir was her true love!she knew that in heart somewhere but wasn't able to do anything.now with the naag guru's blessings, she realised that she would have to tell mahir that she loved her and that she was a naagin. just as she reached near the mandir, she heard the gong specially for her so she went back to gaveli.

"gurudev, you called me?"was uttered out of bela's mouth as she entered the haveli.

"yes naagrani, this is something urgent that i need to show you now."and with that gurudev began to show her the things that happened when vikrant was killed and she saw that mahir did not shoot him. tears of joy began to flow from her eyes but never in a million years would she have thought what would happen next....

she saw that vikrant came back alive and there was someone helping him who was wearing a mask so she could not see the face but by the body build, she could tell it was a man. she heard vikrant talking about killing all humans and wanting to take naagmani for power. hearing him talking about her made it seem like he was obsessed with her. she realised that he never truly loved bela and with that realisation, her knees gave away and she began weeping on the floor,now crying for an entirely different reason.

she now knew that what she felt with mahir was true love and eith vikrant, she was in love with the idea of love and that thought made her stomach churn. she wanted to go home to mahir and just curl up in his arms for all of eternity.she would confess her love to him.

she went home and asked maa where mahir was and so she went to his study."mahir ji i really need to talk to you, i....."and she noticed 2 other people sitting to whom she gave a polite nod and waited for mahir to come outside.however, he wanted her to tell him in front of them which she could'nt do.' she preferred the privacy of her bedroom to confess her love and when she was thinking, the door closed in her face. she was about to go in and bring him to their room to tell him, when someone stopped her.

looking around she found that it was adi who wanted to blackmail her with that video. not being in the mood for all of that she said,"listen i don't care anymore. show it to whoever u want to". besides she waas about to tell it to the person to whom it mattered the most. she got a call from vish and so she went outside to see her.

before vish to could say anything, she burst out, telling her everything about vikrant. vish became so sad because she thought that vikrant was her best friend and was indifferent to the fact that mahir wasn't the killer as now there was no one to kill for.then bela spoke,"vish i am in love with mahir."

"you are what?"vish couldn't believe her ears but somewhere she was happy for her friend too as bela finally found her one true love.bela then proceeded to explain everything to her and listening to her talk about mahir reassured her that she was truly,deeply and madly in love with him. also, she knew that when bela told him the truth about everything, she would make sure if that guy really loved her or not as since bela was younger vish had taken the protective sister role for her and she would never let anyone take advantage of bela like vikrant did.

bela then left her and went to her roomwhere mahir was standing reading some files he wanted to go out but she blocked the door with her body."mahir i really want to tell you something about our relationship".

"fine bela what is it?"mahir asked annoyed.bela began stammering and then his mother called and for the first time in his life he rejected her call.

"bela tell me now, you have 2 minutes. i do not just reject my mother's call for anyone."

"mahir ji...i..i wanted to tell you that ever since the beginning of our relationship i felt something for you. it was all new for me and to shut it down i snapped at you and i am sorry for that.i wanted to tell you that i love you and i don't think i will be able to live without you. you stayed with me through everything and that made me realise my feelings for you. i love you mahir ji."bela blurted out as fast as possible and hearing that made mahir's cold exterior drop and he smiled at bela. 'i love you mahir ji' was the only thing going on through his mind while bela was an annxious and nervous wreck waiting for his reply.

"i love you too bela. i..."but bela couldn't wait to hear everything as she smashed their lips together. mahir kissed her back and both of them kissed with eager passion, love and tenderness. bela never wanted that moment to end but just then sumitra opened the door.

"oh my god, i am so sorry"she said and turned around while bela and mahir broke their kiss looking like 2 kids caught stealing a jar of cookies."maa we.."both of them began but sumitra cut them off."mahir i need to you to come downstairs with me it's very urgent. bela beta, i think it's better that u stay here for now."she added when she saw bela wanting to come down too..

mahir went downstairs with his mother while bela was left pondering about their kiss and thinking what could've happened that sumitra looked so sad....
