Diamond's POV

A knock came on the car and it was Noami. I rolled the windows down.

"I'm taking the Tyrone and the twins to school. KD and you can go in now." she stated .

I smiled. "Thank you."

"Breakfast is cooked and your little ones are still asleep." she stated.

"Thank you so much." I said.

"No problem."

She waved away and got into her car. "Come on." I said to KD

We got out the car and grabbed bags with our and the kids clothes in. We walked in the house and Tray was sitting like an old man with a cup and iPad on the island.

"Morning." I stated.

He looked at KD then back at me. "Morning."

"It's a bedroom right down the hall. Breakfast is ready, kids are still sleep, Noami usually be back around lunch time. Lawyer is meeting with you at 2. House is yours." he said going upstairs.

KD and I went to the room and flopped straight on the bed. It was so uncomfortable sleeping in the damn car. I heard the door open and close and then the garage door open and close.

KD and I fell back asleep. Hours later went by and I went something on my nose. I looked and it was Noami.

"You are so annoying." I said laughing.

"I know I know but I saw that breakfast was not touched. And the kids are still asleep." she said.

I rolled over and wiped my face. "I'll be in the front." she stayed leaving out.

I got up and went to the bathroom to do my hygiene things and hop in the shower. I threw on a pair of jeans with a beige bodysuit and some slides.

Noami was in the kitchen cleaning the dishes and wiping down the counters. She was wearing a fabletics outfits with a pair of pink Fenty slides.

"Look at you. Where are you going?" I asked taking a seat at the bar.

She smiled. "I'm going to the studio." she said.

"You look amazing. Doesn't even look like you have kids, let alone twins for that matter." I said.

She looked at me. "You're going to get through this." she said.

"How? I have no one on my side and no one wants to help me. He is convincing and conniving. He can take everything from me in a blink of an eye. No matter how many legal papers I have, it doesn't matter to him."

She walked over to me and took a seat. "Noami, I want Tray to kill him. I can't risk anything. I have kids." I said shedding tears.

She sighed and rubbed her face. "Diamond."

"Noami, please. I never asked you for anything. I just want my kids safe."

"And you think I don't? We just got rid of everyone that's after him. If he kills Rodney, someone might come after him again. I can't let that happen for my kids." she stated.

"No one is coming after him. Trust me. Because everyone is against him."

"What's going on?" KD asked coming in.

"Why can't he do it?" she asked.

I sighed out of frustration. "I ask of one thing and you can't do that for me?" I said getting up.

"You asked to come over here. I could've lost my husband last night because I didn't say anything about KD. I've helped you Diamond. But now you're putting my family back in danger that we just got out of. The answer is no." she stated.
