Chapter 11: Alone in the TARDIS

=Quinn's POV=

I unlocked the door to my TARDIS. As I walk inside, I rub the door frame, I haven't been in here for awhile.

"Hey girlie, I missed you."

She hummed in response as she turned on the lights in the console room. I headed towards the hallway to put my bag in my room, and start my five day vacation.

~Day 1~

Bored. I was already bored. I decided I would go to California. I've never been there before. I walked up to the control room and starting pushing buttons and flipping switches. The TARDIS hummed, being happy to finally get to fly around.

When we land, we are on a secluded little beach, perfect. Before I run out, I head back to get a swimsuit on and grab one or two towels. When I actually walk out, I'm already hot. It's probably 95 degrees! I lay one of the towels down on the sand and lay down, taking in the heat.

I get up, deciding I don't want to get sunburned. I stand up and run into the water. I immediately tensed up. The water was freezing! I quickly went underwater, and I got used to it pretty fast.

Under the water, I could see various fishes. They were all so pretty. There were small ones and colorful ones. There were multiple coral too. This made me want an aquarium in my TARDIS. I swim back up to the surface to take a breath, and see the sun is starting to set.

I get out of the water and grab a towel, as I watch the beautiful sunset. Once I'm dry and the sun is down, I head back into the TARDIS.

"Hmm, what to dooooo?" I say out loud. The TARDIS hums in response as I walk down the infinite corridor. I find a random room and open the door, game room.

"Now this is what I'm talking about!" I mentally hive five the TARDIS, if you can do that, and run inside.

I head for the xbox. I look through the pile of games and find what I wanted. Just Dance.

I quickly put in the disc and set up the kinect. Then I start dancing.

~An hour later.~

I'm exhausted and hungry. I turn off the game and head to the kitchen. I honestly don't feel like making anything, so I looked through the fridge hoping to find something fast. I sigh and grab the hot dogs from the fridge and put one in the micro wave.

After eating, I head to my bedroom. Today was a pretty fun first day! When I get to my bedroom, I quickly get into some shorts and a tank top, then flop onto the bed.

I jolt up in bed. I was sweating everywhere. I sigh and rub my hands through my hair. I had another nightmare.

"Doctor?!" I call out. Then I remember, I'm in my own TARDIS. But I had to call him, I needed to hear his voice.

I go to the TARDIS phone, and call his TARDIS. No answer. I immediately try again.

"Hello?"

"Hi Doctor," I say tiredly. "I'm sorry to bother you, but I had a nightmare, and I just wanted to talk to you."

"Who is this?" He asks, confusion and worry clear I'm his voice. I hear a couple of voices in the background, two girls and a guy.

"It's Quinn! Doctor, are you okay?"

"B-but, h-how?" He's obviously freaking out, and that scares me.

"Um, what do you mean? Doctor? What's wrong?!"

"You've been gone."

"Yeah, I just left yesterday, it's only been a day."

"No. It's been a year."

Heyyyyy everyone! Sorry for not updating! I'm coming home today so I should be able to update more easily. If you didn't know, I was camping and then I went up north, so I couldn't really update. :/ and sorry for the shorter chapter!! 0-0
