My General Review

So I started watching this drama mainly because of my Fight For My Way feels. Overall, I'd say this drama is really good. The plot is amazing. A rich chaebol and a not so wealthy girl being linked together by an event that occurred during their childhood!  I really like the concept of childhood friends turning lovers so this was one aspect I really enjoyed.

But, there are some really cringey moments... With some really cringey background music that turned me off for a while. But if you're able to handle a bit of cringe, it'll be fine.

There are also many work couples here... And also the transformation of a workaholic employee.. They were really sweet fillers. And the overall chemistry was Daebak!

A lot of watchers commented about the unnecessary fillers but I didn't think they were that unnecessary.

And almost everyone seemed to be talking about the cute intern in the drama.

There's also beloved Secretary Seol who keeps making mistakes... She's like Miss Butterfingers over there. But it's nice cause she contributes to the humor when everyone's so serious. I love her so much haha.

I didn't face much of a second lead syndrome here, like I do with every single drama I watch.

Another good aspect of this drama was how they gave everyone a good happy ending in the end.

And the final episode was really good. It didn't show only the rosy picture of marriage. It also showed the problems faced in arranging everything out. And when you're trying to balance it out with work, yeh, it's hard but then with a jealous, annoyed boyfriend (?)  who's got all the time in the world, it can also be a somewhat nice(?)  feeling.. Haha. Jealous boyfriends are always the best.

And also the adjustment issues... It's not always a bed of roses, you know. It's really hard to get used to your future hubby's way of living. Especially if you're a person who is not used to wasting stuff(like me)  and your other half (I wish it was Jin) is a rich chaebol who is not at all used to saving stuff for tomorrow. Yeh!  I already know I'm gonna have a hard time, okay?[I don't mean that Mr.Worldwide Handsome wastes stuff. I'm just speaking about chaebols in general]

So yeh, it was a good drama and if not for the cringe worthy scenes, would have been even more  better.

Famous quotes

"I want to pick up my life now. Neither the life of someone's secretary nor that of someone's household, but my own life."

"I'm so perfect. In addition to having a perfect appearance, I'm even equipped with a warm, loving heart."

"I am sorry. At that time, I had to be someone else. That was the only way I could live."

"You may think you know everything about me, but you may actually not. I'm not just your friend. I'm your best friend who doesn't want to see you hurt."

"The most important thing in the world is yourself."

"Aura!"

"Do you know who I am?"

"Yes. You're the chairman's son."

"Secretary Kim, now how do I look?"

"A pimple? It dared to find it's place on my classy forehead!" (I wish I had this attitude)

"Promise that you'll drink it all by yourself."

"Isn't it dazzling?"

The guessing game is still on, if you've watched the drama, that is...
