He wonders the now dark, empty streets they once walked and laughed on.
He turns the corner to some shop they first meet.
He stops at a park they once shared their first kiss at, that is now deserted.

She drives past a movie theater, the place they had the first date.
She passes a post office the place she came every week waiting for a new letter.
She stops at a house, her first house they bought together.

She see's a guy held hung low..
She slows....
She stops...

He see's a girl driving tears fill her eyes
He slows...
He see her stop..

He turns...
She gets out...

They look at each other...
She ask if he needed a ride...
He shook his head yes..
They got in...
They start to talk, get to know each other.
They give each other their numbers

They depart...
But he can't get her beautiful smile out of his head, her lovely laugh that just road right off her smooth lips.
And she..
Couldn't get his dark grey eyes that lit up with amusement when she took a wrong turn.

He couldn't wait another minute so he called her.
Ring...
Ring...
Ri-.... 'hello'
"Hey"
'Who is this'
"It's Alec. The guy from the side walk"
'Ohh!!! Hey. How's it going?'
"It's going. I wanted to ask you something"
'Yes?'
"Umm........ w-will you g-go ou-out with m-me?"
'Yes!!!'
They went out on their date...
Became closer...
Got married...
Had kids..
They found each other
All because...
They were both forgotten by the ones the loved before.
