Alexander Rupert Roberts is not your typical teen. He used to have a normal, perfect life. However, that all changed when he discovered he wasn't the only Alex Roberts. He was thrown into a dangerous struggle for power on another Earth known as Darklia. Alex and the Rebels of Darklia defeated the Machting, an evil empire, in a vicious battle, killing their leader and sending them into chaos.
After the battle Alex returned home. After he covered up his short disappearance, he returned to his normal life. Little did he know, his seemingly normal life was about to change. (again)
Alex once again had it all. He returned to his position on the football team, did all his schoolwork perfectly, and got back into the groove. But Alex longed to return to Darklia. He wanted to help Winston and Donald hold back the Machting. He wanted to do something. He could not. There was no way to travel back to Darklia now. The Portal was locked away, unusable. So Alex went through the motions.
Now it so happened that Alex was at football practice one day. While getting a water and chatting with friends, he saw a tall man standing under large pine tree a few hundred yards from the field.
Alex squinted, trying to see the man more clearly.
He then saw a glint, like the sun reflecting off metal.
Alex speed walked too his car, for he recognized the German Clothing.
Oh, and he was holding a German Luger.
