Ch 5. Resolve

In the next morning, I went to the dojo. As I open the door, sensei was already there.

Fukui: "so what is your answer"

Saitou: "I decided that from now on. I won't criticize myself for being a girl, but I will still have mix feeling. And I will still be hesitant to do what a girl do. I'm sure I will slowly change into a different person in the future. As of right now, I thank you for giving me your wisdom. Just as you say sensei. I never acknowledge my female self to begin with because I was stubborn and have pride. But at the end of the day, I won't be able to save or protect the people who are dear to me if I don't learn how to adapt. I will also be embarrassed or gross out on changing, but that is just part of who I am. I never really dive deep into my problem until you brought it up and I thank you for that. That being said, it doesn't mean I will like or accept being a girl right away though. I was ordinally a guy, so changing into a girl just spin my life 360 degree. It will be tough but I hope to work with you."

My mom always say to me "if you only do what you want, you will have a narrow perspective" and I think I finally understand what she meant.

Sensei then give me a smile

Fukui: "you pass"

Saitou: "eh!"

Fukui: "What I said yesterday was merely a test to see what your resolve is. It is also a fragment to your answer in the future. If you were to instantly do what I said yesterday then you are an idiot. No human can change in one day. I just merely give you a fragment that you don't have. In the future if you manage to combine the fragment you currently have with the fragment I gave to you yesterday. Then you will create a key to which ever door you choose to open. Weather it is to marry a girl, a guy, or to live alone it is up to you. Beside more door will be open to you than before. Be what you want to be right now and don't be in a hurry to change. Slowly change at your own pace. Decide what is best for you."

Saitou: "Thank you, sensei"

Fukui: "now let resume training"

Sensei then took out a colorful box from her bag

Saitou: "what is that?"

Fukui: "this is a time dimension item and it is extremely rare. This allows us to train for one month in it. One month in it mean one second in the real world. Also, we won't age or feel hungry or sleepy. so, you don't have to worry about anything."

That is an amazing item! But there one thing that bother me.

Saitou: "sensei, why would you use something that is extremely rare on a student like me?"

Fukui: "It's because you are my sister's daughter"

Saitou: "What!!!!! But mom told me that that she doesn't have any relative"

Fukui: "it is a long story, but this is not the time to tell you. I just want to train my sister 's daughter. It the least I can do for a family member."

During one month in the time dimension item, sensei taught me how to use my magic tool more efficiently. She taught me when to chant a magic spell and when not to. We practice fighting each other from time to time since she wanted me to gain some fighting experience. Apparently, my magic tool mana is rank S and a move called Slash is programed into my katana. As I keep training for three weeks my body became more natural compare to the me when I first met sensei. Over this three weeks, my record of defeating sensei was 120(lost) to 1(win). After sensei taught me everything she know about magic tool, we spent the other three weeks learning self-defense. I learned many things from uppercut to disarming a knife or gun. She also taught me a lesson that remained in my head.
