Snowed In at School Pt. 1

Annabeth's POV:

It was around 2:15 pm when the announcements came on and the elderly voice of our principal rang through the school.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I have some unfortunate news. The blizzard outside has stopped but left us with 5 feet of snow blocking the doors and roads of all of Manhattan. So we will be staying here in the school until further notice. Now, an email has been sent to your homeroom teachers giving them the plan of action. So when the final bell rings please go to your locker and gather you stuff, then proceed to your homeroom for further instructions, thank you for listening and hopefully they clear the roads soon." and with that the intercom beeped and turned off. 

My first thought was, great now I have to stay here longer than I already do, but then I thought about Percy and that cheered me up a little. The final bell ringing pulled me back to reality, so I gathered my binder and books and made my way to my locker. When I got there I found my boyfriend, Percy Jackson, already standing there waiting for me with his stuff. I found my self drowning in his beautiful sea green eye, and when he saw me and smiled, I got butterfly's in my stomach. Gods he's so hot!  I thought but quickly snapped back to reality when I reached my locker.

"How do you get here so fast everyday, Seaweed brain?" I asked him.

"My locker is right next to my last hour, and I'm a very fast walker but you already knew that last part, Wise girl." he replied with that mischievous, trouble-maker smirk of his. I laughed and his smile got wider. He's in my homeroom with me so we walked together to the classroom. When we got there we sat next to each other in our "unassigned assigned" seats and waited for our teacher to tell us more information.

"Okay class, now I'm sure all of you heard the announcement. First off, if we end up having to sleep in the school the girls will be sleeping in the gym, and the boys in the lunch room. We will be having dinner at 5:30, so just be ready for that. Until then, you guys can just do whatever you want to, and I will tell you about any updates I receive." and with that she turned back to her computer and started typing something.

 Being the wise girl that I am I decided to do my homework now so that I could get it over with, I pulled out my binder and got my homework out. I finished my math homework and glanced to my right to find Percy on his computer. He was editing one of the pictures he got from the photo shoot they had last weekend. 

"That looks amazing, Perce." I say getting a closer look at the photo.

"Thanks, but it's only good because your in it." he says with a smirk. I roll my eyes at him as I get back to my work.
