Snowed In at School Pt. 2

Percy's POV:

It's been a few hours since school was supposed to end, but we're still here. At least Annabeth's here, she always makes things better. For the past hours I have been editing pictures from the photo shoot Annabeth and I had last weekend. I never actually thought that photography would be something that I enjoy, but it's actually pretty calming and it helps me focus. I also like the fact that I can incorporate the people that I love into my work, and it turns out I'm pretty good at it.

 It is now 5:00 only 30 minutes until dinner and we are still stuck in this stupid school. I glanced to my left and saw my gorgeous girlfriend reading her book. Dam she is so hot!!  I thought. The way her curly blonde hair perfectly falls over her deep, stormy, gray eyes. The way she brushes it behind her ear, everything about her is perfect. Her hair, her eyes, her body, just every little detail, I'm still trying to figure out how every one of features compliments the others. I was snapped out of his thoughts by his teacher making an announcement.

"Okay class, it is now 5:30, so it's time for dinner. There are still no updates on the roads, but enough about the roads, it's pretty obvious we aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Okay, so let's head to the lunch room." when she finished talking we all stood up and made our way to the lunch room. 

When we reached the lunch room, Annabeth and I got into the line, we picked up our trays, and we got our food, then sat down at their regular table with our group of friends. 

"Hey guys, how are you holding up?" I asked with a smile, trying to act happier than I was feeling.

"Horribly. Why does my dad hate me?" says Thalia as we sit down next to her.

"Ya, your dad must be in a horrible mood if he wants to trap all of us here." says Nico as he takes a bite of his apple. I laugh at both of their responses.

"Oh come on it isn't that bad, I mean at least we get to be stuck together." I said trying to cheer everyone up.

"Yeah, you're completely right Percy." Annabeth agreed while taking a big bite of her salad. We exchanged smiles and her fingers slowly made their way to my hand and interlocked hers with mine.

Time Skip:

Annabeth's POV:    

After lunch, we went back to our homerooms and waited to get ready for bed. The entire time we were waiting, I was staring at Percy and admiring him, and every little wonderful detail about him. Like how his eyes sparkle when he gets a question right in class, or when he edits a photo perfectly and he knows it, or how his hair is always messy, no matter how many times he tries to comb it down it just keeps going back up, it annoys him but I think it's adorable. Also how when he picks up his heavy backpack, and his bicep flexes and stretches the cuff of his short sleeve, or how when he takes his shirt off to get in the pool , his abs flex without him even trying, or when he gets back from the gym and he's all sweaty and has to take a shower at my place and his chest is glistening with sweat, oh and don't even get me started on when he...my thought was cut off by the teacher making an announcement.

"Class, I have some bad news, it doesn't look like they will be able to clear the roads in time, so we will be staying the night in the school. Like I said earlier, the girls will be sleeping in the gym, and the boys in the lunch room, and we will be supplying sleeping bags and pillows and extra blankets if anyone needs it. So go on to where your sleeping, goodnight, sleep well and I will see you in the morning." and with that she got up, along with everyone else, and started to leave the classroom. Percy and I started to gather our things and head toward the door.

"I don't want to be separated from you anymore than I have to be." Percy said giving me the "hurt baby seal" face, that only I can resist.

I laughed and said "You'll survive, Seaweed brain," we stopped in front of the gym. "and I'll see you in the morning, it's one night, you're away from me every night already anyways."

"Yes, but this time it's actually and option the be with you." he reasoned. I put my hand on his chest and he pulled me closer by the waist, I leaned in and kissed him goodnight. Then we slowly parted ways by doing that totally cliche thing, when your first holding hands and then slowly slip out of each others grasp, and with that I went into the gym got my stuff, found Thalia, and got ready for bed.
