Griffin's pov**
My phone rang as mom and Tara were walking down the street. Something was bothering Tara. I wish that I knew what it was. "What?"
"This is Jeremy. Demon called and said that they were busted last night. He called me to come bail them out. He said that I should rob a bank for the money."
"How much do they need and who is they? Why did they not call me?" I knew all the answers, but I can't let them know that I do.
"Demon, psycho, Tina, and Nina. Don't know how much though. The arraignment is at ten. They said it was a set up. I don't know why they didn't call you. I just assumed they tried and you didn't answer."
"You're my first call since last night as I left the compound. I wonder if this had anything to do with Diana. Alright I'll go to the court. Is it Sussex county?"
"Yep!"
"Alright, later." I hung up and told dad what was happening. Tank and Rock were putting up the extra cameras. Mom and Tara came back and we told them that we were going to the arraignment. Dad rode Asher's bike.
We entered the court room minutes before the sick bastards were led in. When demon and psycho saw me they knew they were in shit. When they saw Vic, they knew they were safer in jail. The police make them all sit down and face forward. Then it began. The D.A. told the charges for all of them. Child porn production and possession, human trafficking, felon with a weapon, and drug possession. When demon looked back at us, I ran my finger across my throat.
The D. A. asked for no bail. And it was granted. All of them were led out as they looked at me did the gesture again. They knew they were dead to the crew. Vic and I stood and left. We rode to the house. We had a half hour to get to the funeral home.
"Why don't we let the ladies pick out the casket? They're better at finding the right fashion." Tara looked so sad, I wish that I could take away the pain.
"What about this one? Its the same color of his bike. His favorite colors are silver and blue." Tara supplied. The casket she was talking about was navy blue with chrome accents. Just like the bike that Asher loved most.
"I think that's the best fit. What do you think mom?" Mom nodded her head, unable to speak. "Dad? Griffin?"
"Looks good ladies. Real good." Dad said.
"I think its perfect! Asher loved those colors together. That's why he special ordered his bike. He wanted the navy blue and chrome." I smiled. "He said that black was overrated and medium blue was understated."
They all chuckled. "That's my Asher!" Dad said.
"We will have the music to you tomorrow. Thanks for your help in this." Carl told Mr. Richter as we were leaving.
Afterwards we all went back to the house. I went to our bedroom to call the governor. I told him the dates and times. Then I told him what demon, psycho, and the girls were in jail for. He agreed to blacklist them from his crew. Then Vic, tank, rock, and I went to the compound to talk to the crew.
"Frank, everyone here? This is very important."
"Yes sir!"
"Alright everyone listen up! The funeral for Asher is Thursday at one. It will be at the Chapel Hill Cemetary. Visitation is Wednesday at the bar. Any questions?"
Tony asked. "Viper, how are you and Ms. Gina doing?"
"We are ok. We will make it. It's a tough loss for us."
