"See I kept my promise and I'm here for breakfast."
"Traitor."
"Thank you. I appreciate all the support. You know I was just trying to help. Maybe she isn't as bad as you all think."
All of the friends were shocked, they couldn't believe what he just said. First, he skipped having dinner with them and now he's saying she isn't that bad?
"Are you sure you don't have a crush on her?"
"Shut up. I most certainly do not."
Breakfast was even weirder than dinner had been and none of the friends enjoyed it. It was a terrible way to start the week.
"Hey are you mad at me?" Jaemin asked chloe while all of the friends left the Great Hall.
"No, I just don't like Parsley and I don't know why you would want to be around her."
"I was just trying to be nice. Are we going to put our plan into action today?"
"Sure, I don't see why not."
Since it was Sunday and they didn't have any classes it was easy for them to get everything ready, also with Mark's help. They decided it was best to write the letters first, but tell them to meet later in the day so they have time. Plus it would be mood romantic if the stars were out.
Lunchtime came almost too quick, they only had around four hours left. They already knew it would be in the Astronomy Tower. They wanted there to be birds and lots of cliche things so they two could get the idea. They put all kinds of flowers around the room and plan to make there be some sort of music.
"Where have you three been for the whole morning?"
"Were you all together?"
"Yeah, we had something to do."
"Wow Chloe actually being around Mark in her free time that's weird."
"Okay thanks."
The three Cupids sat down at the end of the table closest to Korin and Jisung.
"Hey, can you and Jisung stay after the others leave?" Chloe whispered to Korin, happy to have there be a couple that could help with the set up.
"So what have you two been up to?"
Both Chloe and Jaemin made unamused faces at their friends who were making faces.
"All three of us haven't been doing anything." Mark said going to their defence.
The rest of lunch was full of the regular friendly conversation with no sneaky crush talk.
It all happened to work out perfectly because Chloe, Jaemin and Mark were still finishing up while the others were leaving, but no one suspected anything when Korin and Jisung stayed because they both looked quiet comfortable wrapped up in each other's arms whispering about where their next date will be. It was a sweet sight to see and refreshingly different from the other couples who like to make out in the middle of meals putting people off their food. Both Chloe and Jaemin saw them and they each had a little pang of sadness as they secretly wanted something like that with each other.
"So what did you want to ask us?"
"Well the three of us actually sneaked off to decorate the astronomy tower so we can help Hyuck and Skylar confess, but we wanted to ask if you have any tips."
The three then told Jisung and Korin about all of the things they had and the couple gave them some new ideas to add and with that the team went back up to the tower for the last four hours of preparation.
Chloe went to write and send the letters to the two while Mark and Jaemin made sure the tower smelt nice and the flowers were perfectly coating the stone walls.
"Hey look what Korin and Jisung made!" Chloe had walked into the room with a plate full of heart shaped cookies and brownies perfectly decorated. They even made ones that said 'H+S'. "I think we should hide them and then once they confess and accept we can have them roll out in front of them."
Then once that was set up and in a spot where they could use simple magic to push the cart out the three were happy with the set up so they checked the time. 6:25. Five minutes until dinner. They had to run down to the Great Hall so they could sit in between Skylar and Donghyuck so they won't talk about the notes.
As if time was on their side they arrived right before the other friends so they made sure the only seats left for the future couple were on opposite sides of the group.
Dinner went by quickly for all of the people involved in the set up which was lucky as Hyuck and Skylar were excited, but also nervous to see what was going to happen. Chloe kept Skylar for a minute after Hyuck left so they wouldn't accidentally talk before getting to the tower.
Then they were both off which meant the three set makers had to quietly follow to make sure everything was going right.
"Hey, I got your note, you wanted to meet?" Skylar asked taking Hyuck out of his thoughts when she entered the room.
"What? I got a note from you saying to go here."
"Jaemin!"
"Chloe!"
They both said at the same time, confusing the other.
"Mark" Mark whispered from the hiding spot causing Chloe and Jaemin to hit him.
"What do you mean?" Skylar asked Hyuck beating him to it, which meant he kind of had to explain because he couldn't think of anything else to say.
"Well, um, a few days ago Jaemin said he'd ask Chloe out if I asked my crush out and I guess he figured out who my crush is and set this up because I, uh, like you?" The ending sounded like more of a question because of how nervous Hyuck was.
Skylar could see how nervous he was and thought it was kind of sweet.
"I, uh, like you too."
She smiled and Hyuck looked up in surprise, then they heard something roll out only to see the plate full of sweets.
The two laughed at that and were grateful that their friends had put so much time and effort into getting them together.
Once they finished a brownie each they noticed the ones that had their initials.
"Skylar, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes, of course!"
The two of them then kissed causing the hidden friends to look away and leave their hiding spot to give the new couple some privacy, but they still managed to hear one more thing said by Hyuck.
"Mmm, chocolate."
