They get to Marinette's house and park their motorcycles in their usual spots in the garage. They turn off the engines and head inside, Mari's dad welcomes them back home from school. They grab some snacks and head to Marinette's room, they both sit on Mari's bed. She looks at him worried, "Are you sure you want to know." he looks at her smiling "Yes baby, I'm sure. None of my feelings for you will ever change." She looks in his eyes and breathes in and out and Adrien does it with her to help her stay calm. "Would you still love me if I gender identify as a male?" she says looking down expecting bad news.

Adrien looks at her and hugs her, "I love you so much, I love you no matter what, you mean the world to me I don't care if you're Female, Male, Transgender, bisexual, anything I love you and will love you forever. Nothing can separate us." She looks at him and smiles "Really." he smiles back "Really, really." Marinette looks at Adrien and says "But what if the other kids call you gay if they find out?" He chuckles "Don't worry about it, let them call me gay I'll be okay as long as I'm with the person I love which is you." She hugs him and cries tears of joy, she then stands up and jumps up and down.

"So instead of calling you my lady I'll call you my sir or my boy, and I'll call you handsome, and I'll use boy pronouns just to see you smile." Adrien says smiling, Marinette stops jumping and smiles "Thank you. I love you." she kisses him and Adrien says "I love you more. You mean the world to me, also what do you want to be called so I can call you by the correct name?" He just smiles and says "I would like to be called by Max." he says, Adrien looks at Max and smiles "Well then Max, I love you." he says with his arms out wide and Max jumps into Adrien's arms and Adrien spins him.

Max is filled with happiness and looks at Adrien, "Let's go tell my dad I told you." Adrien looks at Max and says "Okay, wait your dad already knew?" Max looks at him and says "Yeah, I just told him to use the girl pronouns and shit around you so you wouldn't know yet. Even though it gave me really bad dysphoria. I'm sorry sweetie." Adrien looks back and smiles "Its fine baby don't worry." They both smile and head downstairs holding hands and smiling.

"Dad, I told him," Max says to his dad. His dad smiles and says "That's good son, it's good that you finally told him. Now I can finally wear my "Proud of my trans son" shirt around him." he chuckles and continues "Now I have two sons. Your mom would be so proud if she was here with us right now, she'd be as happy and proud as I am right now." Mr. Cheng starts to tear up and the boys go over to him and the have a moment of silence in remembrance of Max's mom that died just 2 years ago of cancer that she had been battling for 9 years and it had beat her only 1 year after Max had come out to his parents.

The boys finally stop hugging and start talking about Max's birthday that's coming up soon on the 19th. Max also wants a party but doesn't want to invite anyone besides Adrien and Jack so it can just be a boys night with Max's dad, Adrien, Jack, and him. Max looks at them and says "I was thinking we can just have a boys day with Me, you guys, and Jack." Adrien looks at Max and says "Yeah, that's a good idea, just some friends but not too overwhelming." Max's dad looks at Max and then remembers who Jack is "Oh how is Jack? Still working at the 7/11?" Max looks at his dad "Yeah, but he's so good at it and his boss is paying him more than usual." "Well, that's good." Max's dad says smiling.

Mr. Cheng looks at the boys, "Boys come sit at the table here in the kitchen let's celebrate Max." Max looks at him and says "Dad we don-" Max's dad interrupts him and says "No, no, no, no I insist son. Now come sit down with Adrien." Adrien looks at Max and smiles bringing him forward. They both sit down.

Max's dad opens a cabinet that Max knows way too well of, "Dad that's the alcohol cabinet." Max's dad smirks and says "And what's wrong with that son?" Adrien just chuckles "Dad, we're 16. Well, I'm about to be 16 but still!" Max's dad ignores him and says "Well I'm the adult and parental guardian also I'm supervising you." Adrien nods and agrees "He's true about that." Max looks at the two boys "Ugh fine," he chuckles "Hand me a glass." Max's dad and Adrien smile and Max's dad says "Thata boy son."
