Chapter Five

        Adrien and Marinette head downstairs and grab breakfast with Mari's dad. He looks at Marinette and Adrien, he smirks at Adrien then tries to fluster his daughter and says "So, Mari when did Adrien get here?" he says looking serious. She looks at him and starts freaking out, "H-he spent the night in my room but I swear we didn't do anything! Please don't be mad we just fell asleep on my bed after talking." Adrien puts his arm around her and then starts laughing along with her dad, Mari looks at the guys and looks very confused. "What's going on? Why are you guys laughing?"

Adrien looks at her and says "Remember that piece of paper I wrote on and taped to the outside of your door? Well I gave him a heads up that we were going to sleep; and he let my dad know." Marinette looks at them and punches Adrien in the side and chuckles. "Hey!" he says chuckling and looks at his phone, "Okay it's time for us to go baby." he says looking at Mari and then her dad and says "Thank you Mr. Cheng for letting me spend the night." they both smile and Adrien leads Mari to the door, they go out, hop on their motorcycles, and head to school.

Once they get to the school Adrien looks at her and says "Are you nervous?" she looks at him with her blue crystal eyes, "Yes, really, really, really nervous." as Adrien smiles he says "Don't be, I'm right here." they both look at each other, hold hands and smile while walking into the school doorways. As they enter people start looking at Mari. They all look in awe seeing her with her actual hair and clothing. One of the cheerleaders walk up and say "Is that you Mari?! That can't be you!" she says in disgust and goes to reach for Mari's hair "Come on let's take that off and put your uniform on." Mari takes her hand and says "No Chloe, this is my actual hair and actual clothes I'm not going to change them, and if you don't like this then you can deal with it and fuck off!" she says looking at her, letting her hand go, with Chloe's mouth open, and Mari looks at Adrien and the people who are around them who are smiling and when she's done everyone claps for Marinette standing up to Chloe because no has ever done it before. Then Mari continues talking "And Chloe BourBitch, you can't kick me off the cheer team because I am the best person on that Squad and you know it! So, I'll see you at cheer practice in a Men's uniform I already turned my girl one into the principal and got it exchanged. So, not only are you going to have to deal with my real hair but also me in a boy's uniform." Marinette smiles and looks at everyone still smiling and clapping again for her bravery to the most bossiest person in the school.

As they get done with the big circle around them Mari and Adrien go and move through the hallway and headed to their first class together. When they walk in people are in front of the doorway and clapping, whistling, and cheering "Mar-i-nette, Mar-i-nette, Mar-i-nette!" over and over again. Mari smiles and laughs "Well new travels fast." Adrien and her sit down smiling and class begins, as the teacher walks in she shuts the door and looks directly at Marinette. "Marinette please come to the front" Marinette does as the teacher says and asks "Did I do something?" she looks at her nervously and the teacher chuckles "Yes, you stood up to Miss Bourgeois! We are all very proud of you, especially all of your fellow classmates." Marinette smiles and goes "Well thank you it took a lot of bravery from not just myself but my boyfriend Mr. Adrien Agreste who, ever since kindergarten has built me up to believe in myself so thank you to him." she finishes and everyone claps, after that she sits down and class finally starts.

After all the classes end Marinette and Adrien head to their lockers and Marinette changes into her men uniform, after that they both head to the football field for Mari's practice. Once they get out all the girls are smiling for Marinette and saying hi and good job to standing up to Chloe. Practice finally ends and Marinette changes with Adrien waiting for her, they walk to their motorcycles and start up riding out to 7/11 for their slushies. They enter the 7/11 and Jack in his usual register spot, Adrien is talking to Jack while Marinette is getting the slushies, she then comes back and sees them laughing she puts the slushies on the counter and says 'What are you guys laughing about?" both of the guys look at her "I was telling him about Chloe's face when you told her off." Adrien says smiling.

"Oh well it was pretty priceless." she says chuckling and looks at the boys. "Jack I have good news!" he looks at her and says "What? Wait let me guess you finally got" he whispers "a c-h-e-s-t b-i-n-d-e-r?" she looks at him and says "No you goofball but hopefully soon. I was able to trade my girls cheer uniform in for a men's uniform!" she says with excitement. He looks at her with happiness and runs from behind the counter and out, picks her up and swings her around laughing, he then sets her down and says "Oh my god Mari that's amazing!!! I can't believe it!" They both smile and see Adrien looking so confused Jack looks at Marinette and whispers "Have you not told him yet?" Mari looks at Adrien and says "Not yet." Adrien looks at her upset "Tell me what Mari." he says being serious and having his arms crossed. Jack looks between Adrien and Marinette "Mari maybe you should tell him when you guys get back to your house" Mari is looking nervously at Adrien "Um, yeah I'll tell you when we get back to my house" Adrien relaxes a little bit and looks sad "Sorry if I scared you baby I don't know what came over me." Marinette smiles and hugs Adrien "It's okay, I love you" he looks at Jack and smiles "I love you too." Jack pays for their slushies for the second time this week and they leave to Mari's house.
