Chapter Two

Now that they are alone she feels more comfortable because she is with her best friend; Marinette keeps smiling and looking at Adrien because he is the only one who knows about her secrets and has helped her through her troubles. "So, Mari why did you want to talk alone?" he says to her with a question. "I just wanted to talk to my best friend that's all," she says blushing while talking to him. "Is there something you are hiding from me; because you're blushing," he says as he noticed her face getting red and chuckles. "Well kind of, I do need to tell you something," she says as she looks at him smiling.

"What is it, Mari? You know you can tell me anything," he said looking at her. As they look at each other she says "I like you, but not as a friend. I like you more as a friend. Like a boyfriend." He looks at her, stops and smiles "Well that's unfortunate because I don't like you like that." he said hiding a smirk. "Oh, okay then," she says looking down sad. He looks at her picks up her head and kisses her gently on the lips "I love you more than you would ever think." he said smiling. She looks at him, smirks, and punches his shoulder " Oh my God! I hate you I thought you were serious! You are so damn lucky you are cute." she says smiling and kisses him back gently.

"Hey Mari, have you ever tried coming to school as yourself and instead of your fake identity?" he says "Because I would love to see people's reaction." She looks at him "Yeah I've thought about it but I'm scared, but if I had you I bet I could do it because you make me brave." Well, you can count on it because you do the same for me." he says smiling right back at her. " Well we can start tomorrow." she said "Okay." Adrien says as the last bell rings "Wow, we were here all day." Adrien says "Do you want or need a ride home?" "No, I'm good my bike is parked behind the school but you can ride with me," she says looking at him. "Okay, I'll meet you out front," he says kissing her cheek and jogs to the front, out the door, and hops on his '96 Harley Davidson while riding to the back of the school. When he gets there Marinette is already on her bike and starting it. "Let's go," she says riding out the parking lot and Adrien follows her.

As Adrien is following Marinette she leads him to a 7/11 and drives into the parking space that she finds. "So, what are we doing here?" Adrien ask wondering, "We're getting slushies, duh." she says excitedly walking in and saying hi to the cashier she knows; she walks to the back where the slushie machine is "Hey babe, what flavor do you want?" she asks Adrien and he responds "Blue." she smiles and brings two blue slushies to the register and starts to pull out money "You don't need that Marinette I'll pay for you guys" the cashier says looking at her smiling, as Adrien notices he puts his arm around Mari "Thanks Jack." she says smiling back "This is my boyfriend Adrien, Adrien this is Jack one of my friends." Jack smiles "Nice to meet you man." he says holding his hand out and Adrien shakes it "Likewise." Mari looks at Adrien then back at Jack "Well, Jack we have to go it was really nice seeing you." Jack looks at the couple "You too Mari." he says leaning over to give Marinette a hug; after they hug Marinette and Adrien walk out of the 7/11.

Marinette looks at Adrien chuckling, "Are you okay, it looks like you were getting jealous in there?' she says smiling. "No I wasn't getting jealous, pfft why would you say that?" Marinette looks at him and they both chuckle. "Okay, maybe I was a little jealous." he says looking at her smiling "Well you don't have to worry my heart belongs to you. I've known you since kindergarten and we've had a huge bond over the years. Don't worry baby I'm all yours." she says kissing him on the cheek and starts up her bike after finishing her slushie."Let's get out of here." she says chuckling while looking at Adrien.

Adrien agrees and throws the slushies away then hops on his bike, he starts up his bike and follows Marinette out of the parking lot heading out to the highway. "Hey, do you wanna come over to my house?" Mari asks Adrien and he says "Sure, lead the way, my lady." Mari goes to smile but quickly hides her face putting on her helmet that matches the color of her bike. Adrien wonders what is wrong but doesn't ask anything because he doesn't want her to get distracted on the road.
